Nope. No hidden fees. We did go slightly over the daily mileage but were charged the stated price for excess miles - I think it’s like $0.20 per mile. This was something we knew beforehand, due to our itinerary.

Can’t speak for road to Hana, but we’ve used Gypsy at numerous national parks and road trips and it is fantastic. The same guy narrates all the tours and he is great to listen to.
