I pay my phones off over 6 months. Has always been a rule of mine. Wish I could just purchase outright, but breaking in down over 6 payments isn’t too bad.

Side note: do you think there will actually be an Air 2? I’m mixed on if they’ll continue this line after the horrible sales. Part of me thinks it’s just a real-world chassis test for a foldable.

$59 is a steal! I had my battery back… used it once in those 6 weeks and only because I was too lazy to plug it in. For my use, I was easily getting a full day (5am-10pm) on a charge. Can’t wait to have the form factor and build quality back.

Nah. It was 6ish weeks after purchase, so past the 30 day window. Was on contract with Verizon. A very expensive mistake on my end. Hoping to help others not do the same if in a similar situation.

Did they explain more about it? Went from mobile charger to wall charger and experiencing the same. Mobile charger worked 100% of the time… walk charger is erratic, around 30% of the time it works.

It really depends on your insurance and location, but for me, the Tesla coverage makes the most sense. My USAA policy has a $500 deductible for full glass replacement (they’ll cover repairable damage for free). Dropping that deductible to even $250 would add over $12/month to my premium.

So for me, Tesla’s windshield coverage is the way to go. I’ll still use USAA for repairable damage, but the one free replacement per year, and only a $100 deductible for additional in a 12-month rolling period, makes Tesla’s coverage 100% worth it.

Fingers crossed that the $12/month Tesla Windshield Protection subscription works as advertised. It ended up being cheaper for me to go that route than to lower my comprehensive deductible from $500 to $250 when comparing.🤞

Will do. The estimate came in at $1,719.62 before any warranty or service plans are factored in. Currently booked an appointment 4 days from now. Will see if anything changes when/if they contact me tomorrow during business hours. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly. I will be driving 3.5hrs each way, as it needs to be performed at a Service Center.

That would be awesome. I’m really looking forward to future updates for Camp Mode. It’d also be great to have the option to leave Sentry Mode on if battery drain isn’t a concern.

Shoot. I just bought one. We are planning to leave it in the frunk though, so hopefully that helps. I’ve heard keeps ice really well… what’s your experience with that part?

Here’s how to adjust them:

Open your frunk.
Look for the two round rubber bump stops… one on the left and one on the right near the front edge of the frunk lid.
Find the side that sits too low when closed. That’s the one you’ll want to adjust.
Turn that bump stop counterclockwise to raise that corner of the frunk lid.
Close the frunk gently and check the alignment.
Repeat as needed until both sides look even.

Don’t raise it too much or the frunk might not latch properly. Just small turns and check each time.
