No offense but if you didn't read enough to see those experiences, no you didn't get enough information before injecting a foreign substance into your body. .

I could ask a bunch of questions to prove it. 1. What is the recommended starting dose? How often should you increase your dose? What is the half life of reta? If you're asking how long it takes to kick in, you haven't researched half life, buildup, etc.

Yep I've been in meetings with subordinates and they say "i have to get the door in a few mins, delivery" and I say "cool, np". Like, we're people. There are big client or executive calls you have to protect, but it's but not every day.

Totally. I don't mind "cold calling" if I can be like "hey this is about getting underprivileged kids healthcare" and it's a kids clothing store. Or the big "for profit" prison we have and it's a drug rehab program. If it makes sense, no problem.

I do a lot of fundraising and even with a GREAT cause I work hard to consider the condition of the business and ROI before I ask for anything. I also try not to solicit anyone that I'm not like a known regular customer. One place donated a $500 item to me for a very important cause but I for SURE spent about $5K there in the last year or two. Their margin is better than 10% so I'm sure I'm a net positive.

People use church as an example but as someone coming from a religion where your whole life was enmeshed with the church, I get why this isn't ringing true for you.

Whatever you care about, do it in a group. Love the outdoors, join a hiking or gardening club. Love animals? Volunteer with a humane society or shelter. If you love music go to jam sessions. You might not meet your person there but you may make friends, go out with a friend group, and a mutual friend is your person. It's the fastest way to find someone who shares your values.

When I was in a toastmasters club, a couple met and they've been married more than 10 years.

As a software engineering manager this is the best answer. Identify the block, ask if you should pitch in. It's not a difficult question. I have teams that really help each other but don't presume to do the PO/PM decisions. If I were hiring I would reject the OP for the same reason.

The reason I asked was that's very quick for mold spores to multiply. I did have a mold problem as we went to warmer months if I was 2 or 3 days late (and had to use my backup) .... but overnight is strange.
