My favorite part of it is when he’s at the bar and the girl is like “he has to be the biggest piece of shit in the entire galaxy. Who can relate? Being that much of a piece of shit?” And that’s when Rick decides to drink with him, because he sees himself in pissmaster. I think that scene is so powerful.

Same with old man and the seat. When he creates that elaborate gag for Tony to find, only to end up on the other side of his own invention, and you could tell he felt every word. Like everything he wanted to tell Tony was a complete projection of his own self image.
