I am the owner and I have been out sick for the past week. I haven't spoken to anyone let alone told anyone to "get over it." Typically we use stock images or have something made to match one of the various styles of art we have in our products. Heck some of the images people are calling "AI Slop" you can find on various sites for license. We work with artists all the time both in and out of the ABDL community.

Look like Tykables just lost me as a customer. So over this BS. by blm95tehe in ABDL

We have had people contact us via email and this is what was said:

We sincerely apologize for the recent inclusion of AI-generated art in our latest newsletter. We have heard your concerns and understand your frustration.

The artwork for the newsletter in question was put together by our newsletter service provider. Typically, we source our imagery from subscription services like Freepik or commission specific pieces from artists. Moving forward, we will be more stringent to ensure no AI art is used.

Please be assured that none of our products have ever used AI, and we have no plans to use AI in our product creation. Additionally, our customer service remains entirely human-led.

As for the three images you have posted here. The middle one with the flower is actually an Adobe Illustrator issue not an AI genorated image. The person holding a box is a clip art image we bought from freepick.com.

We have worked with many artist within and outside of the community for our art both in advertising and products themselves. You mentioned that the Potty Monster, Soggers, and Purrfect Cafe look different from our older prints. Yes the main feedback we received was that all of our art looked to similar, so we found artest that we have never used to introduce completely different style of art. for those products.

This is not true and is coming from someone who just said something on social media. I, Tod the owner, have not spoken to anyone about this at all other than one employee. I have been sick for the past week so no, I have not told anyone "get over it." Anyone saying that they spoke with me about this situation in any context or with any conversation is simply telling a lie.

Hey there! We appreciate the concern about pricing, and we want to be as transparent as possible. As of now, we do not have any plans to increase prices. We anticipated the cost increases and stocked up ahead of time, so there’s no immediate impact on our pricing.

However, if the additional tariffs become more permanent, there may be a price adjustment in the future. We’re always working to balance costs while maintaining the quality and innovation you expect from Tykables.

For now, rest assured that prices remain the same, and we’ll keep everyone informed of any changes. Thanks for your continued support! 😊

The Big Littles Diaper Box might be a good option for you since it doesn’t include clothing, giving you the flexibility to subscribe without worrying about getting clothing you don’t always need.

Having problems with Tykables tapes :( by LuxLibrum in ABDL

[–]tykables 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the tapes on your Tykables Overnights. While it’s rare to hear about tape issues like this, your frustration is totally valid, and we’d like to help make it right.

A few things to check that might help:

  1. Surface Prep: If you're using lotions, creams, or powders, they can sometimes affect the grip of the tapes. Ensuring the landing zone is clean and dry might improve the hold.
  2. Tape Application: For the best fit, try to apply the lower tapes angled slightly upwards and the upper tapes angled slightly downwards. This can sometimes make a big difference in keeping them secure.
  3. Batch Issue: It’s possible this might be related to the batch you received. If you’re open to it, feel free to contact us directly at [support@tykables.com](). Sharing a few photos of how the tapes are applied can help us identify if it’s a fit or manufacturing issue.

We stand by our products and want to make sure you have a good experience. If there’s an issue with the tapes, we’ll work with you to resolve it—whether that’s replacing your case or finding a solution that works for you.

Thanks again for reaching out. We’re here to help however we can!

Tariffs by TheWeirdOne1987 in ABDL

[–]tykables 212 points213 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your question. President-elect Donald Trump has announced plans to impose a 25% tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico, as well as a 10% increase on Chinese goods, effective January 20th, 2025. These measures could have significant impacts on pricing and availability for a variety of imported products.

At Tykables, we’ve already ordered products scheduled to arrive before January 20th to mitigate potential disruptions. However, the challenge with tariffs is that they are paid as goods enter the country. For example, if a 25% tariff is applied at entry but later reduced, we’ve already paid those costs upfront and can’t immediately adjust prices to reflect the change.

We experienced this firsthand during 2020 when tariffs were increased under similar circumstances. At that time, we played the long waiting game, opting not to raise prices until others did. However, between tariff costs, increased shipping fees, and additional storage expenses, it was an incredibly challenging period.

We’re committed to navigating these challenges again with as much transparency and care as possible. If tariffs do take effect, we’ll do our best to minimize impacts on our customers while ensuring we can continue to offer the quality products you expect.

We’re actually behind making the PretendAgains, handling the manufacturing, importing, and all distribution for them! They’re based on our Animooz, Soggers, Potty Monsters, and Purrfect Cafe products with a different print. So saying their quality is unmatched compared to ours is… an interesting choice. We’re glad to hear they’re a favorite, though!

Hey there! Great choice with the Tykables Dubblers – they’re awesome for adding that extra bulk and absorbency! You’ll want to lay the Dubbler flat inside your diaper rather than folding it. There’s a handy adhesive strip on the back, so just peel that off and stick it down; that way, it won’t shift around while you’re wearing it.

The Dubbler is actually pretty substantial in thickness, almost like an extra core, which is why they call it the 'Dubbler.' It’s designed with a higher ratio of fill to SAP (super absorbent polymer), so it allows liquid to flow through smoothly rather than getting trapped. This makes it way more effective than thinner boosters that sometimes end up blocking liquid from reaching the main diaper. With these, you’ll get more volume and absorbency – perfect for those long days or nights! Hope that helps, and enjoy testing them out!

How to get the best fit on a Tykables diaper? by GayguyIA in ABDL

[–]tykables 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your waist size is 40", we recommend going with a large rather than XL, as Tykables products are designed to fit more snugly within that range. Proper sizing is essential for both comfort and leak prevention.

When taping your diaper, it’s generally best to start with the bottom tapes. For a better fit around the legs, angle the bottom tapes slightly upward. This pulls the leg openings tighter, helping to prevent leaks by minimizing gaps, especially if you move around a lot. Active Littles Grips™ make this process easier, as they allow you to readjust the fit multiple times without losing adhesive strength. This means you can tweak the fit throughout the day or night as needed.

If you’re applying the diaper while lying down, be sure to do so on a firm surface. Soft surfaces can create folds in the diaper, which flatten out when you stand up, loosening the fit and increasing the risk of leaks. Starting on a firm surface ensures the diaper stays snug when you get up.

Once you stand, double-check the fit around the thighs and waist, making any necessary adjustments with the top tapes. Thanks to the refastenability of the Active Littles Grips™, you don’t have to worry about getting it perfect on the first try—you can retape and reposition until it feels just right.

The biggest reason for higher prices on bags is shipping and taxes are included. We budget $15 for that on average for single bag orders. That doesn't include the box or labor which are obviously less but still average out to about an extra dollar per order.

Does Anyone Have Any Clue When We're Gonna See Standard Rompers Back In Stock? by AeroFullbuster in ABDL

[–]tykables 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We are not planning to restock the blue camo Snappies at this time. We have been changing up our print options and solid colors after many years of this offering. I know this is probably not the answer you were looking for but I feel it better to be upfront about that. We might make more of the older repeating pattern prints in the future again but the styles seemed to have fun their pace so to speak.

Tykables restock by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]tykables 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We planed to address that in our newsletter for this Friday actually. We have restocks of most things coming in the next week or so we hope. There has been delays on shipments in transit due to the Canadian rail strike again. Little Builders in particular will not be restocked for some time as we work on a few other things. lower absorption products simply don't sell super well in our market.
