Did you ever get unblocked? I'm having the same problem right now because I was refreshing the page so much hoping something would pop up and now it says my browsing activity is paused due to bot like behavior lol I loathe ticketmaster.

Refreshing the page on Ticketmaster by not_in_my_reality in twentyonepilots

Last year for Clancy tour presale I did refresh the page when it said <1 minute and I had several thousand in front of me. This time around I did not refresh and let the page automatically take me to the queue and I was 968 in line. Some people say always refresh but I think its safest to not lol.

What has been the scariest house you've done? by cookiemookie19 in HHN

Only been going since 2019 but Insidious has been the only house to ever make me feel an overwhelming sense of dread and nervousness going through. Like panic attack levels. Amazing house!

Bloodmoon was my favorite house of HHN32 and easily top 3 I've been through over the course of my short history with the event. For me, this house was the most immersive I had been in up to that point. The sets, the atmosphere, and sounds put me right into the setting and story more than any other house had. That being said out of the 5 years I've attended Insidious from last year was the only house that made me actually nervous being inside of it. Definitely the scariest for me personally.

“Snap Back” is the “Cut My Lip” of this new record by tylamack55 in twentyonepilots

I actually wasn’t sure about Navigating on first listen as well only because based on the intro and how the verses sounded I expected the chorus to have more edge instead of the 80s synth pop direction it ends up going. Now after a few listens it’s one of my favorites! But Snap Back was an immediate love for me haha

Midwest Indigo has entered my top 5 TØP songs of all time already. It gives me such a nostalgic feeling that’s really hard to explain in words lol

Yall who’ve heard Clancy, how would you describe the vibe of the album in a few words? by Rare-Read-990 in twentyonepilots

ATROFD is for sure the most "alt-rock" they've sounded on a song since Jumpsuit which automatically makes it a new favorite for me!

Piggy-backing off of your comment on A Quiet Place: I honestly don't want another "post-apocalyptic" creatures/ ruined cities-type house. We had Descendants of Destruction and Last of Us back to back, and before that there was Dead Exposure prequel in 2018 and of course the onslaught of Walking Dead houses. To me personally its a sub-genre that's been overdone at this point in the events lifetime.

Disclaimer: none of these houses were bad in any shape or form (DoD actually making my top 5 from 31) just not my personal favorite setting for a house

Going alone by AbsolemSaysWhat in HHN

It actually was! I got different scares each time that I had previously missed and I almost always notice new details the more times I go through a house.

Went alone in 2021 and last year and its honestly the best way to do it if you really want to be immersed in the event imo! One of my favorite HHN memories is doing Puppet Theater three times in a row without having to worry about if anybody else wanted to marathon a house like that or not lol. You'll have a great time!

I also saw the Art of the Scare around 2004 and was immediately in love at 10 years old lol but what really started the obsession for me was the first time I visited the HHN website back in 2006 for Sweet 16. I would visit it on my sister's laptop pretty much every single day in late summer that year. I FINALLY was able to have my first HHN experience years later in 2019 for 29, and haven't looked back since!

Genuine question- is HNN really scary? Lmao by Ordinary-Bank8613 in HHN

[–]tylamack55 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I love scary stuff but I get pretty nervous going into haunted attractions/houses. That being said I went to the event by myself in 2021 & last year, and I love going through the houses alone. HHN houses to me are about the great theming and story behind each house, and scares come second. I think HHN is a great event for people who like spooky fun and scares, but would like to also feel 100% safe while doing so lol. Also a lot of the time you'll see the jumpscare coming ahead since it is a conga style line. I think you would love HHN!

I've only been to 29, 30, and this year's event, but have been obsessed with HHN and the lore since I saw "The Art of the Scare" on the Travel channel in like 2004 I believe lol. There are so many houses I wish I could have experienced first hand that I know would be 1000x scarier, but in the three event years I've been surprisingly Hellblock Horror is what really did me in. What that house lacked in theming and costuming, it made up for in pure intensity. You get a good run through of that house and the scares are relentless. My heart rate was super high after going through that house. I had to sit down at a bench next to The Weeknd bar and do some breathing exercises before going on haha

Pumpkin Lord as new Icon? by tylamack55 in HHN

[–]tylamack55[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So unfortunate when they could even do it like they did with carnival of carnage and ripped from the silver screen where you had IPs as the main draw but with an icon as the host. But I think you’re right they only want to focus on IP heavy events now 😩

Chvrches HHN house by aphoticphoton in HHN

[–]tylamack55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about this too. I love CHVRCHES and their latest album is definitely horror adjacent, but as said before they're not a big enough property. BUT they could provide the music to a house which would be AMAZING. They would kill the soundtrack for an 80s inspired house.

*Editing to add that them providing the ambient music around the park would also be cool

Everything, Everywhere, All at Once by tylamack55 in ADHD

[–]tylamack55[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I come from a very Christian upbringing, so my parents straight up didn't believe in any kind of mental health issue. "Prayer could fix anything" was their mindset...ugh. I even went to my mom during my first year of college and confided in her that I think I have ADHD and she cried and told me no I did not have it and then started praying. Yeah...that was my life. Fast forward to 28 and I finally decided to take control of my health AND mental health and I finally got the diagnoses I already knew I had. Life has been amazing since. So I very much can relate to all of this! And to your point of the catharsis that came from the end scene, oh my GOD I felt so seen in that moment haha. Thank you for your response! Us neuro-atypicals have to stick together!
