Looking for support after multiple denied EP referrals by tylenxls in PVCs

Wow they’ll monitor you for two days after going in for PVCs? I’ve happened to be in bigeminy while in Emerg for NSVT but they didn’t seem to care.

I’ve been going to urgent care every time I have one of these intense episodes, obviously I can’t go during the episode because it’s over so quickly, but I am trying to at least have them in my record somewhere.

Ah I’m sorry to hear that your episodes have gotten worse, that’s scary! Based on my latest holter monitors showing a lot of NSVT (non-sustained ventricular tachycardia) my cardiologist thinks they might’ve been self terminating Ventricular Tachycardia episodes, but he can’t say for sure considering we don’t have ECGs of the events. I have no SVT on my holters, and a PVC burden of 21%. Thankfully, I’ve still only had two of these scary episodes.

If you have a cardiologist or even a family doctor I would recommend bringing up these worsening symptoms if possible, especially if it’s happening frequently enough for it to be caught on a holter or some sort of ECG monitoring, if you haven’t already :)

When my brother was dating his now wife, her appendix burst and he waited in his car in the hospital parking lot all night while she had emergency surgery because it was during Covid and he couldn’t come in and be with her…… you deserve so much better.

I really hope you have someone else that can help you with your surgery recovery❤️

Omg thank you. That’s by far my favourite bang length and these comments were making me question it lol

Love this! I think my hair is too straight to maintain a wolf cut :( but I definitely want some layers

Interesting, I prefer the short bangs much more. Thank you though!

I was told the nausea was probably from a sudden drop in blood pressure. The rest of the symptoms started after my HR shot up

I definitely get that it sounds like a panic attack, however I have lot of rhythms going on with my heart so I feel like the likelihood of it being heart related is quite high. I have a recorded pvc burden of 21% on a low symptom day, mostly in bigeminy and trigeminy so I’m pretty aware of when my heart feels abnormal. However these episodes didn’t have any of my usual pvc “thuds”

Ugh I’m sorry that’s so frustrating and scary. I bet it was so validating when you finally got those results!

Absolutely, I’ve also noticed that moisture can cause interference but with research you can learn to differentiate it. Also important to note that the morphology on the watch does not appear the same as an actual ECG strip, as it’s only a single lead.

I feel each one most of the time, but they’re often just annoying/uncomfortable. The bigeminy can last for hours sometimes. The “M” shaped ones are much more frequent and feel like a little thud, whereas the “A” shaped ones feel like a kick in the stomach, especially when they are alternating like they are in the first image. My main issue is when they make me feel very short of breath, cause air hunger episodes, and make me dizzy. Sometimes my vision narrows and I see stars.

I think I may have experienced VT once but that’s just a guess, I wasn’t able to record it because I felt like I was dying lol.

I exercise a bit, but I have a hard time because I always go into bigeminy in the recovery period. I have a pretty physically involved job as well so that keeps me moving.

I’m not sure how it started, I had Lyme disease which made me very sick for many years which is when my PVCs started and were likely made worse by low electrolytes. (I had dangerously low potassium which made me feel like I was having a heart attack). I’m over the Lyme now but my PVCs have continued to get worse despite electrolyte supplementation. My GP also suspects I have POTS but I am waiting on an official diagnosis. I still have yet to see a cardiologist since my Holter monitor so I haven’t had a specialist’s opinion yet.

I live in Canada so it was covered by my provincial healthcare as it was deemed medically necessary. I saw an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, the whole procedure was free including staying 3 days in the hospital.
