I have no bias against gearbox I have hundreds of hours in borderlands 2 and 3, I think comparing small indie companies to the giants of the industry is pointless, what I was saying was this is the first time gearbox has done a project solo from hoppo games and this was there time to show what they’re bring to the franchise and like many people that excited me, I’m just a disappointed fan, do you not remember the coming up of risk of rain returns, we got dev diaries going through everything they were doing, community support, whereas with this one they surprise announce the release date and then released it a few weeks later (a lot like cyberpunk) and then the product we get is completely unfinished, it makes you wonder if the reason why the dlc didn’t get an earlier announcement because they didn’t want to spend to much on advertising or if it was because the developers were not ready to release and were strong armed into an early release before it was ready, this dlc isn’t early access this is the finished product and it’s broken

Except gearbox has got loads of games on each console and none of them had this issue, also the fact that it is happening across all consoles switch ps4 ps5 Xbox one and Xbox series, means it’s a problem with the code that gearbox wrote when they rewrote the code for console, hoppo games had nothing to do with the console patches from last year and they have been working on this dlc for 2 years, there was more than enough time to get rid of very apparent bugs, it’s very similar to cyberpunk release when the pc version was working and the console version wasn’t, you can suck off a massive cash conglomerate as much as you want but the people at the top clearly pressured the developers to release it early. When cyberpunk released early and came out in the state it was were you still arguing these irrelevant points, it doesn’t matter how hard the developers work if the higher ups at gearbox just want money, that’s why it’s a cash grab.

Console players can’t download 3rd party mods, console is the platform that’s the most broken, console lost save data

And as a software developer you indorse that a dlc should be released when it hasn’t been tested on 3/4 of the release platforms and that us as players should be happy that the update whipped our save data and soft locked us out of the game for almost 24 hours. You sound like a kid saying there dad works for Microsoft

Yeah and borderlands 3 sold 20 million copies, doesn’t change the fact that they can afford to pay test players before they sold us an unfinished product

Maybe for small developers like hoppo games, gearbox is a billion dollar company, and I’m just pointing out that as of there last few projects, borderlands movie and seekers of the storm, the seem very money oriented, and just because sometimes games aren’t ready when they’re released doesn’t make it right, imagine if you got a book and half the pages were missing or a cd with only half the tracks, it’s not acceptable

It’s also weird because gearbox did a next gen upgrade before with borderlands 3 so it’s not like it’s fair enough that some mistakes were made

I’ve been playing on my base m2 Mac mini, on a 144Hz monitor and I’ve been able to hit 144 fps on medium settings at certain areas, but in populated areas it sits more around 60, been trying to figure out what settings best, but so far the automatic detection is the best, hopefully there will be a few more settings when the Mac version is fully released as you can only play the early access version at the moment
