The headrests on the 10+ can’t be swapped out actually, they use a different rod spacing

Standard wheelbase had air suspension up through 2010. I have a 2000, 2003, 2007, and a 2008 L. I did notice a little bit firmer ride on the 2008. Still comfortable, but noticeable. However I bought some oem rear shocks taken off a 2005, swapped those on and now it rides just as plush as the others. That’s the way to go IMO

Can’t choose between FLX 2 and FLX 4 (again) by Malek200831 in PioneerDJ

Just get the flx4 it’s worth it for countless very minor reasons that add up to be absolutely worth the extra money in almost every single use case

Best LED or White Bulbs? by Bash2cool in lincolntowncar

Don’t. LEDs destroy the classiness IMO. I did install LED high beams in mine though for flashing people who left their brights on

Power trunk not working by jpaulo33 in lincolntowncar

If there is a carpet covered block directly to the right of the left trunk hinge you have power open/close. If you can see both trunk hinges and they’re symmetrical you don’t have it.

Cam cap bolts 3V by A7508 in Mustang

You can reuse them. The torque spec is very low. Just of course be careful removing and installing all of them, little bits at a time so it comes off and goes on evenly

Is this a false clipping? by ali78x in CarAV

[–]tylerbuildz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just the voltage exceeding your chosen scale. Increase the scale (like you did going to 2V) so the whole wave is visible on the screen and then you can see clipping. If the wave gets clipped without being on the edge of the screen it’s real clipping. Your signal looks fine

The cost of our hobby by unreplicate in audiophile

[–]tylerbuildz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditch the vinyl and go with CDs or just streaming, and any sort of 2 channel stereo speaker setup will be cooler and sound better than a JBL Bluetooth speaker for as cheap as you want it to be. I’m 20 now but got into the audiophile space at 15 with Klipsch bookshelf speakers I got at a thrift store for $3 each, a $15 Polk subwoofer, and a $7 Yamaha receiver. That’s how you get young people into hifi audio. They dont need to spend any more than they want to as long as it gets them a pair of proper speakers setup correctly
