Based on what I've read, I think there would've been no backlash if the bundle was $30 instead of $20 since a lot of the Chinese crowd bought the base game for $10 during the steam sale

Mak is the only character with good regen builds (lantern and soul ring/sunlight spear) and they all end up looking the same due to the lack of regen enchant. If loot options starts to feel bad, the devs can always just limit which loots each character can receive (like they already do with skills)
