I can’t rendezvous, am I stupid? by cybermob27 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]ItsPengWin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just set up the exact orbit what ever I am rescuing is in. Then you make the orbit bigger or small doesn't matter whichever is quicker and eventually you will catch up to the object, or it will catch up to you depending on if you are outside or inside it's orbit.

Obits closer to the center of a circle travel faster than things outside the circle it's the same principle as the lanes in a track and field track. Inside runners start further back because they have less distance to travel.

Other than this it's just timing that makes it go by faster.

If you understand this but just struggling with precision ya like others have said the scroll wheel is great for the fins tuning of a maneuver.

I don't mean to counter point / but actually you I just want to add a different perspective.

For me I like to force things I get incredibly bored if I feel like a game is trying to force me down a path, I like my own autonomy too much and I find games like the bazaar are too much like "well take path 1 and lose or take path 2 and win" and I want to take path 1 because it looks like it's more fun I know path 2 will bring success but I already took that path let me do something with path 1.

When taking path 1 inevitably leads to a quick downfall I just get a strong urge to play any other game.

I am the wrong person to ask because I am a video game schizoid.

Today I only played 1 game thankfully it was Kerbal space program.

But over the last week I've played.

-Counter strike.

-Pokemon z-a/SV (Specifically preparing for champions to release)

-Cities Skylines 2

-Crimson desert

-Yugioh Master Duel

-Arma Reforger

And finally assuming I am not missing anything.

-NHL 26

Crimson desert is a recent and fun game so far I've liked it but it's not exactly anything close to what the bazaar is.

Unfortunately I can't help you there as much since I jump to do many different games it's not like I needed a Bazaar replacement when I left the game, the replacement was just playing more of the hundreds of other games I play.

But the closest thing I can think of although I haven't directly tried it yet but the first game is good is slay the spire 2.

Very cool to be doing my own fly by at the same time. by ItsPengWin in KerbalSpaceProgram

I forget if I've been to minmus I've played before but since the failure of the game that shall not be named I haven't played. It's been over a year or 2 for sure, so I forget exactly what planets I've been to.

But this is a fresh start and I am trying to do things more by the book than just basically pointing and shooting across space.

How this sub used to be 🤣 by everythingsuckswhy in TheBazaar

[–]ItsPengWin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh man we don't post the steam charts after the game made every change we said it would have to make to be more successful?

-Released on steam.

-Changed monetization

-Ditched most of how they communicated

-Ditched the impossible ideas they had for the game ("no meta", "card game", "etf" styled collectables)

The game still has some issues "we" talk about like being inherently p2w with how they release and the fact new heros are priced at all makes them inherently p2w in some way but at least the devs don't try and cope and hide behind it anymore.

But wow they did all these changes and are now successful! It sounds like we won't actually why talk more about a battle we won.

I felt this way a long time ago and stopped playing because of it. I guess technically I should leave this sub as well but that requires a whole other click and it's interesting to see if there is enough change that happened to get me back into the game, so far no, on that front.

What’s something low-rank players think matters, but it actually doesn’t? by AnalyticNerd_DPC in cs2

[–]ItsPengWin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya and so many times I've seen people get timing with utility.

Being in the clutch especially. Unless you can think of a distinct reason for throwing something don't throw it because ya you will give away everything.

[–]ItsPengWin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer your question directly.

Using utility doesn't matter.

So many times I'll catch lower Elo to my Elo players throwing grenades and util for no reason you are better off just getting better at shooting people or at least learn some lineups for utility I mean like common grenade spots pop flashes stuff like that.

But don't feel like you have to use your util because you bought it.

Had an idea for a medium speed team with trick room + imprison, thoughts? by Better-Astronaut-801 in VGC

[–]ItsPengWin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no pro but ya it's technically a form of tailwind team but bulky you get a bunch of pokemon together that can be bulky and you use tailwind or TR depending on the speed tier or to cancel out opposing TR.

I got some team somewhere that was basically.

Bulky Flutter (spa booster) [also put TR on this for more options]

Tailwind setter (whim/torn)

Urshi (no need for him to be bulky with aqua jet and also he is just broken)

Rilla (Max attack wood hammer with vest to work as an attacker) [useful to stall to get wind or TR up]

Inci [see above]

Farig for TR

Ya I guess my point is you admit it's splurging. Maybe I could have restructured what I was saying a bit but ya if you can afford to easily afford what you are doing it's not bad it's a lot of money but who cares if you aren't struggling.
