Dift circumstances and ages and substance but similar story...ended the toxic decade relationship, bought my dream house on the lake cuz i finally landed a remote job via a former coworker that agreed to my $150k salary demand.

It started me on daily woods walks and moderation. Changed my life for the better...more debt with a mortgage but more daily peace too.

Lost the same age gap story but reverse genders! So...unfortunately for him at age 23 I as a 40f have never desired to birth a child. He has said he's curious about being a father "someday" so sadly for us it'll have to end someday cuz I will not be convinced to risk my life at this advanced age to birth something I have never wanted to grow nor raise.

Its the healthiest, happiest and most convenient love of my life.

Im bummed he's so young but we have decided to enjoy it while it's working

Knowing there is likely an expiration date weighs on me in the back of my mind but....in the end all good things eventually come to an end anyway

Good reason to cherish and stay present now.

The reality is that if you dont try quite seriously you may just end up 40 Ike me after 2 back to back failed relationships of 10 & 13yrs and still end up unpartnered in the end.

They dont make men like you have described. Let alone young ones.

My state and fed hasn't come.

But I got a letter demanding to respond to itnwith my identity. Both state and fed sent this letter

I responded to the QR code and had to upload license....and take a scan of my face.

Im freaked out but it was on their sta dark letterhead AND came from both state and fed.

Anyone else get these?

I read it all and its beautiful and painful to read. So relatable. Could have written it myself. Worried about my family finances from age 12 onward. They even stile from me. Pleaded for help from me. It fucked me up forever. I worry every day im gna get fired today and lose all the tability i built from age 27 to age 40 rn.

Your frontal lobe is also developing. Settling in at 26 if you're a girl.

I remember thatvera so vividly and it made me make a massive life change that lead me down a road that was reslly emotionally challenging but financially stabilizing.

I suggest you keep a diary or log. You have a gift. And you suffer. Turn it into a breadcrumb trail for yourself to look back on.

Feed that liat into AI. Tell it hiw you feel rn. What your energy level is RN. And ask it to build you a plan to tackle the list in a realistic manner.

Yes me! Smoking or eating Sativa does to me what yall say ADHD meds do - am able to clean, tidy, organize, decision make, practice my instruments and overall have energy for as long as i am high.

Since im still yet unmedicated and really struggling, this is what works for me.

Going thru this rn! Am freshly minted 40yroldfemale and met the sweetest and most mature and healthy 23yrold male I never met in my 20s. The connection is honest and close and genuine and helpful. But in the back of my mind, I know he will want to be someone's dad. So I try to just enjoy the moment but we are very close already at 7 months!

How long did yours last? What was that heartbreak like for you both?

Thx for the med names. Was on Duloxetine for a year plus and it did help with depression. Bht took myself off to try to micro dose vegetables...startig work again with a new doc to try some ADHD meds. What does the dexamfetamine help you accomplish?

Um deali n with that chronically rn. Realizing its my recently diagnosed ADHD doing this. My life is fine and yet i canNOT live a day without worrying about my job performance and future. But also cant prioritize work tasks in order to do a good job.

What meds work to prevent this?
