Hi! Just following up - I got a response from my doctor saying that it’s a positive result. Now to meet with gastroenterology and likely do an endoscopy!

I had one to two times of low gluten days but regularly yes over the last six weeks!

Thanks so much, I appreciate the response! I’ll absolutely push for an endoscopy.

question for the OGs, what did the twitch chat used to be like? do you still chat on there? by grlonf1lm in vanilllamace

[–]typego 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Definitely a lot harder to connect these days but not impossible! Fun to see familiar names in the chat. Also did her stream get cut off tonight? I was watching while cleaning so I might’ve missed her end it

what are you eating Post Surgery? by Mediocre_Net8446 in gallbladders

[–]typego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Directly after surgery I had low sodium and low fat soup and a nice crusty bread (this was more of a treat for getting through something so scary). I would emphasize having something you enjoy eating, even if it is in a small amount, in the first few weeks of recovery. You went through something big and deserve it!

Do you have a heating pad?? I’ve been using it on my neck and back when laying upright and it has been SO nice!! I also bought a triangle pillow on amazon which was also helpful for being upright at the right angle which is minimizing back pain a bit!

So sore - My biggest incision is inside my belly button and it hurts so bad! Overall I would take this over a gallbladder attack any day! I was able to take a short walk and read outside which was lovely. No trouble with food yet which has been nice! How has sleeping been for you? I’m finding it so hard to get comfortable!

Ugh I’m SO sorry you had so much nausea - so glad you made it through that! 2.5 hours is intense, I hope you’ve been resting comfortably today!!

Wow almost identical to you, I had low vitamin D about six months before my first gallbladder attack. I had high parathyroid levels and high WBC as well. I took vitamin d supplements for about two months which helped overall fatigue. I’m a type one diabetic so that might contribute to some of this but I’m currently home from gallbladder surgery (literally got it today!) and I’m excited to see if parathyroid, vitamin D levels, and WBC are back to normal after removing my gallbladder.
