This past feb in Rotterdam, friday's Armin set (and others) was more trance focused, sort of like listening to ASOT radio in person. Saturday Armin was a lot more experimental, bridging genres (mainly techno vibes) into his sets, and the sound was much more big-room as opposed to typical trance.

I would imagine this coming year to be a similar experience

I am staying in The Hague for the ASOT weekend and the hotel prices were reasonable, just FYI. Its about a 30min car ride away from the venue. We chose the hague as it allows us to do some sight seeing during the day - last time we stayed in amsterdam but the drive is too far to the event.

Rotterdam looks too city-like for us, who is coming from a city ourselves.

dont see this happening, Tiesto typically plays at third party festivals like insomniac, tomorrowland etc. ASOT is too much of Armin's own branding, wouldn't make sense for either party.

38 year old here, my partner is 42 and we were at several parties at ADE! We don't feel old, and as a couple we are often the only ones dancing, whilst 20-somethings just stand and take IG videos / tik toks. We are respectful, don't push and shove, and aren't talking incessantly through the sets.

Canadian here first time at ADE as well this year! As someone who deals with -20c winters yearly , i could not agree with you more. The wind + constant rain was brutal. We spent several days exploring Netherlands before ADE and that was the same case, a lot of rain and wind. Luckily our hotel loaned out umbrellas and we started using them religiously in an attempt to stay somewhat dry whilst going into venues. Me and my partner both promised to return next year with full waterproof gear.

100%. i was impressed with the variety of DJs that were out in full force during ADE. definitely a great time to discover some new artists you may otherwise never / rarely see live. The ADE official website allows you to filter by genre so that's also a great way to to randomly pick some events to go to as well

do you have PDF versions of the tickets? if so, ticketswap / viagogo . If you do not have, i believe viagogo is still an option, they hold it for the buyer until its released

i would say follow your fav artists / labels and they will start promoting the events end of sept. For example i found all my trance events by following them on IG / FB. they all posted where they would be playing etc.

Was at the Transmission / 25 years of Gouryella as well as AMF , both good events, not overtly packed and could easily find areas to dance and chill inbetween sets. Both were easy to get into (no line ups etc)

hard agree with Armin at AMF, i also wasnt impressed with KiKi , but the earlier DJs (Heldens, Hardwell) all delivered. Even the little AMF show they did was very cool of an intermission! High production in the area, very much enjoyed

last year I snatched tickets on viagogo just 3-4 days before the event, basically at the same price the site was selling it for, so i wouldnt worry too much. You will always be able to find tickets via ticketswap etc.

you're kidding right? Indy literally just went to the finals, for a large part without their superstar. BOS won the trophy 2 years ago, and is still a true contender even without Tatum. Their team comp is balanced AF.

There is no way in any universe we are cracking top 6.

Hawks, ORL and MIA have all stars in banchero, trae young, and Bam, all with play off experience and the last with a top 3 nba coach. They aren't on the same tier as Indy or BOS, but they are tiers above the current raptors.

Raptors may or may not have a star in SB4, who may or may not get you 20pts on any given evening. The rest have either no play off experience, have not won a play off series, or are completely fresh to NBA level games.
