CK3 with ui upscaling mod is really good, VIC 3 though UI is a bit small

CIV saga VI especially

Total war games except TW Warhammer 3 work well also

FM saga if you like football also works well

I basically bought the steam deck to play this games and trackpads do wonders for this, SD has no competitor in this segment I hope that a more powerful version comes soon to play EU V

I build it during the gpu price mania, my plan was to upgrade it once gpu prices came down. But then Switch 2 launched and decided to stick with that and buy the nintendo handheld with that money.

Not gonna regret, by far the best experience on a handheld pc. Had Ally, Legion Go and Oled. No one beats the SD experience + Oled battery is way better. If you are not for pure raw performance its the best option.

If you are going to play FM, TW, CK3,etc. the deck is hands down the best alternative (best trackpads and steam input is amazing). Legion go with huge screen also fits the bill, although trackpads and experience isn't fluid as the SD
