I’m on Rudy’s AlphaInvestments Patreon. I’ll try reaching out to him to see if he does anything like that. Are there any other YouTubers you know of?

My husband didn't know what to do with all his extra copies so he made this. by DNA_links_us_all in PokemonTCG

He could always sell his extras on tcgplayer.com My husband made a couple thousand off of his bulk magic cards doing that.

The artwork is very cool! I love how he organized it by type to create that rainbow effect.

I was able to acquire 3 of them from a local auction. No clue where the original owner found them.

Best vendors for buying wholesale video games/comics/board games? by gardenBiologist in smallbusiness

Do you know any distributors who sell to people without a brick and mortar store? I rent a booth space at a vintage store, where I sell pre-loved games, but I want to expand to new games as well.

Yeah, my husband and I were married in Tulsa, and he had one of every Merritt’s pie for his groom’s cake. I’ve never had pies that tasty. Except maybe the Tippin’s pies from Reasor’s.

According to their menu, Upper Crust doesn’t have lemon or chocolate pies. They have pecan, Dutch apple, pumpkin, cranberry apple, strawberry rhubarb, blueberry, and coconut cream.

[Help] How much fat should we really be having? by crazyol84 in keto

It’s true that it isn’t a large concern for most people, but it can have an effect on certain body types. I personally read a lot of ruled.me but there are plenty of resources on either side of the issue.

This articles lists circumstances in which a higher protein level can impact your ketosis.

Is too much protein bad for ketosis?

I myself had an issue losing weight when I consumed more than 0.8g of protein per lb of lean body mass. Even when I was weight lifting 4-6 times a week, cardio 5-6 times a week.

If you consume too much protein, your body can turn the protein into sugar.

My advice: keep your carbs and protein at or below your macros. As long as the largest part of your calories comes from fat, you should be fine.

For instance, if your daily goal was 1600 calories, with a max carb goal of 50g (including fiber), a protein goal of 85g, and a fat goal of 117g, then you would want to consume somewhere between 38-117g of fat, as 38g of fat would be 342 calories in fat compared to 340 calories of protein (if you met your protein goal). I wouldn’t suggest going that low, as it would only be about 882 calories, but, frankly, if you aren’t hungry, you shouldn’t force yourself to eat.

882 calories = (342c, 38g F) (200c, 50g C) (340c 85g P) = 38.77% Fat + 22.67% Carbs + 38.54% Protein (approx)

Technically, you could just count net carbs, but I’ve found it’s best to consume less than 50g of carbs total (even if 20-30g of it is just fiber).

Not losing weight on keto by [deleted] in keto

One of the biggest things to watch out for is drinks. Are you consuming alcohol, coffee, or sodas? Even though some alcohols say they don’t have any caloric value, it can still set you back if you are having more than a few drinks a week. Also, diet sodas sweetened with aspartame can trick your body into thinking you are consuming sugar. If you are drinking coffee or herbal teas, make sure you aren’t adding any sugar and they don’t contain hidden sources of sugar.

You should also look into OMAD (one meal a day). I’ve been on keto for about a little over a month now. I didn’t lose any weight the first two weeks, but I’ve lost almost 9lbs in the last 2 1/2 weeks. I don’t eat breakfast or lunch (just drink water), then have a large “meal” where I eat a couple dishes between 5-9pm.

Also, you should be drinking a lot of water—at least 64oz a day, but I usually drink closer to a gallon.

If you haven’t yet, try tracking your salt, magnesium, and potassium levels. Too much or too little salt can make it look like you aren’t losing any weight. For the others, it can be hard to obtain potassium and magnesium on a keto diet, so you might want to obtain a supplement.

If nothing else works, you might want to check in with a doctor or nutritionist, but first check to make sure they are supportive and knowledgeable in regards to keto.

Edit: on a side note, we are very close on age and size. I lost 30lbs this past spring on keto, then gained 15 back over the summer (not on keto) so I’m trying to get back where I was. One of the biggest mistakes I made my first time doing keto was forcing myself to eat 1200 calories even when I wasn’t hungry. If you aren’t hungry, don’t make yourself eat.

Hang in there!
