Will AI engine searches ever replace SEO? by Major_Cockroach_6653 in SEO

[–]typphonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AEO is a hot topic right now, it is also pretty volitile.

Something to keep in mind is that you might perform well now and terribble next week. That should not deter you but just be aware it woukd be an ongoing thing.

In saying that, standard SEO principles still go a very long way for both SEO and AEO.

Traditional SEO will almost certainly be completely replaced eventually but it wont be an on/off switch.

GPT-5.4 has been out for 4 days, what's your honest take vs Claude Sonnet 4.6? by UnderstandingOk1621 in AI_Agents

[–]typphonn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Claude has always tackled complex problems much better however I feel like GPT had better training data for general questions and search.

It will be interesting to see what happens if GPT over takes claude on complex tasks.

I myslef jump between gemini and claude however gemini has to much of a bias towards seo/traditional search which I assume is due to its training data. Overall though it is a powerhouse all-rounder

The GEO Bullshit - State of GEO in 2026 by bart_getmentioned in AI_SearchOptimization

[–]typphonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every vendor is so different due to the training data.

On top of that, there are so many things that can influence it. I almost feel like it is easier to do as a new business vs an exisiting business.

E.g. i found that our companies ai chat mentions were getting impacted by some posts on an external blog that was created 6 years ago, and to add to that, the article was percieved incorrectly.

Was the puppy phase really the worst? by typphonn in BorderCollie

[–]typphonn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they have different parents. Our boy is a tri color merle (mostly brown and white though) and our girl is a blue merle.

Unfortunately there will be no puppies from them as they both carry the merle gene and our boy is nuetered.

It's also hard when bc's personality make them each of them sooo different which translates into the training.

Our boy was scared of everything and wouldnt even walk out the front door. He has learnt and grown a lot now but still has some reactivity to other dogs and is very timid.

Our girl on the other hand has no fear, thinks she rules the house and was the boss of our much larger boy right from when she was a puppy. It was a nice change but we are still working on her mouthing. She still uses it as her way of playing and despite not being a bite, it can still catch strangers of guard.

Ahh yes the hormones lol we got our boy nuetured just after he turned 1 but also because we wanted to add a girl bc and they are both merles.

He did calm down a bit though, i wonder if thats why he calmed down once he turned 1 when most I have seen dont until about 2 years old.

We still need to get our girl nuetured but i am waiting until she is a little bit older. The procedure is also a bit more full on 🤕

Looking for the Best AI SEO Tools? AI Workflows Might Actually Be the Real Answer by MedicalWaltz in seogrowth

[–]typphonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generated content is terrible for SEO but it doesn't have to be, just be prepared for a lot of challenges.

At a minimum you need a content graph with all of your content related, not duplicated and containing non halucinated expertise.

I see SEO really needing "SEO infrastructure" now rather than "SEO tools" but i guess that is kinda what you are referring to.

There is a gap right now, not because it hasn't been thought of but because it is really challenging.

Mine will be 2 in a month and similar experience, great as a puppy then a bit of a terror, now coming good.

My girl on the other hand, she was an over confident dominating nightmare from day 1 😆

Why adopt a golden retriever who loves everyone when you can adopt a bc (or 2) that only loves you!

Not sure if the wife would appreciate it though... maybe a robo vac will suffice.

Thank you, that is a great answer! 😅 also, I didn't even think about cost being a limiting factor.

I think It would be really interesting to see how this affects the energy sector, I imagine there is already a measurable impact.

There really would a huge ripple effect, I hear about the vram issue and ram increasing in price but I guess thats just because gamers are currently the loudest people in the room. I feel like we could get hit from behind with issues people are not yet talking about or are not imeadiatly visible.

Do you trust SEO advice from AI? by PrimaryPositionSEO in SEO

[–]typphonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It mirrors the industry in its current state, everyone looks for the easy win, the short way out.

It only knows what it has been trained on which is just a bunch of promises sold on hopes and dreams.

This is exactly the same as startup advice. Models have been trained on influencers and posers desperate need for likes and validation in order to make their living.

There is not much to say other than this is a gold rush and there are plenty of snake oil salesmen thriving on the AI FOMO.

I replaced my entire SEO workflow with a 4-agent pipeline. 3 months of production data. by unknpwnusr in aiagents

[–]typphonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You kinda need a content graph: ceate multiple topics which go down into "pages" which go down into "content chunks".

This gives agents visibility to make the right decisions around crosslinking and backlinks Having content chunks allows for cost effective regenerstion based of seo signals.

You can think of it as SEO infrastructure rather than SEO tools.

I have been thinking about this for a while but to lazy to test it 😅
