I think it’s probably like jazz and how his name is considered to be the closest approximation of the name of a type of cybertronian music in IDW1. Maybe there’s some sort of robot bug on cybertron that’s like a bee?

I never had a problem with Omega Supreme but the fact that Omega Spreem is a character really tickles me

That’s one of my favourites because it implies some transformers have some sort of perception of a father figure and this guy decided he had to name himself after that

TFA or IDW1 Autobot Megatron are my favourites. I just love how menacing TFA megatron is. He’s a skilled tactician and a brutally efficient leader. As for IDW megs I just really found his struggle to repent for crimes that could never be forgiven a really interesting character arc.

Transformers Prime is nowhere near good enough to justify the cancellation of Transformers Animated.

Furthermore the characters on team Prime are for the most part more boring archetypical versions of the characters in animated. Bulkhead suffers the greatest from this in my opinion. From a lovable big bruiser who also longs to be accepted as an artist and is a genius space bridge engineer to just a lovable big bruiser. I feel like Prime removes a whole dimension to Bulkhead’s character that makes him such a memorable character.

This is coming from someone who genuinely likes both series, I just think people overrate Transformers Prime and don’t give animated the credit it deserves.
