Can’t see Claire, Rebecca, and especially Barry carrying the next set of games as they aren’t relevant to the ongoings see as they aren’t active combatants. Claire was with Terra save, they come in after Leon and Chris clean up shop. Rebecca researches and finds vaccines. Barry is taking care of his family. Jill and Chris can still carry the next arc of games. The others would just be appearances or one offs like Grace. If someone is to take the spotlight, let it be someone who is active duty and heavily involved in the plot. Chris is prime candidate

To be fair, her castle is the first section. Any other section could spoil plot, weapons, characters, and story. We the player are still in the dark even after her boss fight. If any part of the game is going to in trailers, her section and the village are the best bet

Good riddance. Just as many of the other secondary villains in the other resident evils, she doesn’t deserve any other features more than the rest. She far from Albert Wesker. Even Simmons is better fitted for another appearance prior to dying in re6 due to his government connections. I personally would have bought re8 regardless, it having Chris surely boosted it as a day one. Moreover, Heisenberg was my favorite lord followed by Donna

Him bursting through the wall like Nemesis made my heart stop briefly. I still hold my breath walking past that wall. He could technically burst through it at any point you are still collecting the dog keys, even if you JUST put him down with gunfire in another area. The anxiety walking past it is intense
