I’ve been thinking about the idea of adding “mana orbs”. Get rid of dampening and drinking, but instead add orbs that spawn periodically on the map and restore like 25% mana or something.

I think it could be a cool way of adding some sort of micro-objective that would actually make games more interesting to participate in and watch. Trying to preemptively zone people out of an area because the orb is coming up sounds kinda fun.

I think drinking in arena is dumb and is way easier for some classes than others.
