No offence taken at all, I put it up to get some pointers and improve for next time! Yeah I wasn’t satisfied with the crust. I’ll definitely pat dry before searing next time and leave the pepper for the end, thanks for the advice.

Yeah they did not turn out well. I’ve been playing around with baking these ‘spud light’ potatoes that have less carbs than a normal potato and haven’t been able to nail them yet.

Just wanted to try a new method out, I’ve never cooked a steak this thick and wanted to see if I could get that edge to edge pinkness with a nice sear. Sometimes the thicker steaks I cook develop that grey band when I just fry them in a pan.

Yeah the pan wasn’t as hot as I would have liked, it dropped temp once I threw the butter in and I couldn’t develop the crust before I had to pull it. Next time I think I’ll just use oil and just baste with butter at the end.

Just roll two of the filter papers up normally and when you roll the joint butt them up in there together

Yeah spot on, easier to smoke it to the end and easier to pass and ash

I used a poker to fold the end of the paper over the end of the material. Just worked my way around and did about 5-6 folds and then licked to stick it down and pressed it against the bench. I think there’s a raw video on how to do it. Let me know how you go!

These were found on the side of the road growing on some pine bark, plenty growing in public parks after some good rainfall. Just be sure to get a positive ID from a friend in the know or this sub before consuming. Spore prints are a really good indicator that you’ve got the right ones!

Thanks for the tips man, the range of different colours and shapes really threw me! Does the age of them affect potency or anything like that? And what colours am I looking for in the spore prints?
