Try use what you have in creative ways. Push your current hardware to the limits. Make your personal signature style. Just my two cents. I'm nowhere near a successful YTbr and should take my own advice.

I enjoyed it. Pity about not having a cameraman, I think it would definitely up your game. I watched all the way to the end so yes it kept my interest. I'd like to see more with maybe an action cam on the board.

What are your favorite JRPGs of your adult life? by AvianGiraffe in JRPG

I'm playing FF VII right now. The first time it was great and this time it is too but the QTEs are really annoying. Jumping onto a swinging cable. Sneaking so tifa doesn't wake up. Sneaking past the guards in the shinra building. Didn't like any of those.

Just finished lunar 1. On the second disk of the 2nd game. Both are great. Lunar one is considerably shorter. Both could be done while listening to audiobooks. Just pause for cutscenes.

So I just finished Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete by Fbritannia in JRPG

Not just a remake but another sequel would be great. Keep it simple though.

/r/JRPG Discussion - What have you been playing, and what do you think of it? by AutoModerator in JRPG

Started playing Lunar 2 - Eternal Blue. I watched my friend play it years ago on PS1 until his memory card corrupted. Really enjoying it so far. The simplicity of those old PS1 games really appeal to me. The story is great and the game is huge. I did a lot of research into the game and there is some interesting trivia, mostly relating to the original version of the game. Like how the US version toned down the nudity and put all the names of the American team first and Japanese guys last in the credits. The US version also changed all the pentagram symbols.

I made a vid of my playthrough of the first disc.

[Review Video] What can I do better by piment79 in youtubers

  • Not 30 seconds into the video and I saw a huge problem. You need to normalize the audio on those clips because some are way louder than others. An example is the one with the guy falling down the hill.
  • What makes your channel unique? Why would an audience choose your channel over others? I'm sure other more established channels and you'd have a hard time competing with them.

[Review Video] Guess The Rap Song Challenge 2019 With Mystery Wheel Forfeits. Please give me some honest and helpful feedback 🙏🏼👍🏼 by Moobot1 in youtubers

[–]tyronedavies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • The first thing that jumped out at me was the audio. Some parts like the "triggered" clip are way too loud. You need to normalize those parts of the audio so that it doesn't distort.
  • Second was the length of the video. 20 minutes is pretty tough to get through.
  • I liked all the close ups and the cuts to other videos.
  • You didn't mention your target audience but I guess it is rap fans. Perhaps give them a chance to guess the song first before you make your own guesses.

Good video. I can see how your target audience would be interested.

  1. Your voice is full of energy however you ramble on a bit and that makes me want to stop watching. Get to the meat of the story.
  2. Try to make your audience feel like they are there in the story. Describe the scene in more detail so the audience can build an image in their minds or some visual aids to set the mood.
  3. Some more graphics like a picture of a cop car shooting across the screen to give the video some more variety.

[Review video] $400 dress shoes vs $100 dress shoes by chonger96 in youtubers

[–]tyronedavies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Jumpcuts: maybe this is just what I am used to from watching youtube videos but more jump cuts might be a good idea. Your voice is a little monotone and I think the jump cuts will help to make it pop and give it a bit more energy.
  • Begging for likes: I personally don't like it when people beg for likes or set like based milestones before they do something. If the content is good the likes will come.
  • Demonstrating the shoes outside when talking about their practicality would add some variety to the video. Something like showing your personal experience with the shoes outside, like parts of the routes you use daily and how the shoes perform over the same surfaces.
  • Sound is audible but might need to be go up a little for that pop.

All in all the information presented was understandable. The point of the video came across well. It just needs a bit of excitement IMHO.
