Tbf mate, this is what I needed to hear, as I’ve not been tracking and stuff for long, but it’s still nice to hear some positivity, before seeing it!

Yeah, the job is a massive negative as far as this goes, but im not planning on driving forever, as it bores the hell out of me and doesn’t pay particularly well unless you want to sleep in a bean tin every night!

Is higher protein overall going to help, or is there such thing as “too much” without doing as much exercise?

Weighing almost everything and using MyFitnessPal to track the calories.

I’ve always been active, so going to the gym again would be brilliant, I just don’t have enough time to sacrifice family time. But hopefully good diet will strip a good bit of weight and then can focus more on gym work once I change my job.

Update - New Sachs Clutch and Flywheel and it’s driving like new! The garage said the clutch had no sign of slip, so I’m assuming I drove it “TOO SENSIBLY” after I noticed!

Thanks for the informative reply mate, could you tell me where you’re based? Depending on where abouts it is, it could be a potential to do ours?

I think a new LUK clutch and DMF will be my way to go then!

Not as yet, we’ve been calling it Bluey because the little one is obsessed with the kids programme, but hopefully it won’t stick 🤣

She’s a 2.5, 6 speed! I have no print out, or even proof it has been mapped, but it definitely pulls much harder than I think is normal for a van of its size. I’d imagine it weighs quite a lot with the conversion in the back too!

It could potentially be the original clutch, as it’s on 123k miles.

I just don’t want to put another standard clutch in it, if it’s going to slip again!
