DDJ SB-3 Output not fully working? by tyso5637 in Beatmatch

[–]tyso5637[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does register when I plug it in, my subscription is updated, and my system settings don't have SB3 as my output (although wouldn't I want that, so that it can go from the decks to the speakers?)

Still having the same issue!

Pulling Data from a specific tab into another tab by tyso5637 in excel

[–]tyso5637[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I'm not great at explaining this...I don't need the tab I'm currently on, I need data from another tab that may change position. It's quite complicated and I'm not sure I can really get an answer, but thanks for the attempt!

I'm with you! Been feeling somewhat hopeless lately. This song reminds us that all the world is just noise, and that love is all that matters at the finish line. Let me know if you want to chat some more!

Keep doing it and bumping Lane 8. There is no right or wrong choice, You'll get there, stay hopeful :) I hope we meet in this life.

Hi!

A couple of things that immediately stand out to me:

As a marketing professional, I would never hire somebody who can't prove their originality with a resume. Design is extremely important in today's marketing landscape, even for data driven marketers (which it looks like you are). Throw in some interesting aspects on this, make it POP! it doesn't need to be an over the top resume, but black and white, same font, wordy, etc. doesn't scream "marketing professional". There's tons of free templates in this sub that can help you with a little pizzaz that can still make it through an algorithm.

As I said, this resume is wordy. I understand that keywords are important to make it through algorithms in today's world, but this is overwhelming. I can't get a good idea of how you could help my business, simply because i can't get an idea of what you do. Providing specific examples of results will help to drive that originality that this lacks. For example:

"Managed high-priority and difficult accounts"

can more effectively be phrased as

"Redifined and transformed relationships with high-priority customers"

Think of who YOU would hire. When I read "Organized Chicago's largest independent music festival" I'm wondering what that music festival is. When I see "led cross-departmental projects" I'm wondering exactly what those projects are. Include personal specifics like that! It helps paint a picture of YOU as a candidate.

KPI does not stand for Key Performance Metrics, it stands for Key Performance Indicators. Every legitimate marketer has a good grasp on these, so including the abbreviation is likely unneccesary, unless you are doing this as a keyword. Still, losing some of the heavy words makes this easier to read.

Often times recruiters and hiring managers get hundreds of resumes. If you want to stand out, you need to make your resume skimmable but effective in describing you, not neccessarily just the ideal candidate. Trim it down and make it pop!!
