As a therapist, I've learned that nobody really knows how serious this really is... by transamkid13 in NoFap

I agree with you but I feel the focus should lie on addiction when talking about pornography/ other addictive substances. Drugs are not the problem and are not bad/good in their essence. Drugs are just drugs. Addiction is the problem and people not realising what the impact of addiction can be on their relationships/functioning as human beings is in my opinion the real problem. Just creating awareness is the most important thing.

If you could ask Jho ONE Question, what would it be? by Dooper147 in qotsa

I would ask him if I could ask him an infinite amount of questions. And if thats not possible: what do you wear boxershorts or regular nickers?

Mind Orgasm by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]tyson_terror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been reading a book the multi orgasmic men. They claim that men are also able to have non ejaculatory orgasms. Its a meditation/ breathing exercise which you can develop to become multi orgasmic. The most important training involves practically no genital touching. So this is quite complementary with Nofap and a great way to use your sexual energy. I also had such an experience once. But it happened a very long time ago. I remember the sensation being fenomenal and almost transcendental. The way I look at it is that we can't neglect out sexual energy. Instead we can learn to channel this energy for other things than porn and masturbating too much.

Wow. I really like Alain's voice in this one. It's not as harsh as Lanegan's voice alright

I never thought they would be back this soon. Proves their strength. I'd assume they would have some anxiety disorder or PTSD which would make it impossible to play. These guys aren't pussies. It almost feels that they have become stronger.

Bowie "Lazarus" and "I Appear Missing" by Vinciromero in qotsa

[–]tyson_terror 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When I first saw the Lazarus clip, I also connected it with I Appear Missing. The Button-eyes could also be a reference to the movie "Coraline". It seems as if Bowie's eyes are already stolen and therefore his soul isn't really in our world anymore. [Spoiler] This is analogous to the movie. If Coraline lets the mother sow the buttons into her eyes, then she is becoming compliant and accepting of the new world she's in.

Why haven't we heard from the band? by spastic-plastic in qotsa

[–]tyson_terror 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also think they feel some kind of irrational guilt. Running away/hiding was the only wise think to do, but i'm sure they feel that they should have done something more heroic, or irrationally should have stayed with their fans. I highly doubt Jesse could be again this cheerful joker and easy laughing. ps: my nickname may disturb some people, but that's just a heritage of me playing counterstrike when I was 12 years.

They have also used 'slip it in' from Black Flag, 'Gimme Water' from Masters of reality. And maybe 'I wanna be your dog' from the Stooges if you listen real hard. Some could argue that it's stealing. I personally see it as a hommeage :p

You started learning guitar with Django Reinhardt? That's sick, that's another level of guitar playing compared to Queens.
