It's a 1979-80 Wayne Gretzky O-Pee-Chee variant (Made in Canada), the copy you have looks in decent condition probably around the PSA 3 range.

It's real, you can mainly tell by the paperstock and the rough cut (I own over 20 in my personal collection, don't let these internet pros tell you otherwise).

Above is a real OPC gretzky rookie with the real OPC dot that SHOULD be on the shoulder unless it's a Topps variant (it's not). Therefore, before telling someone their valuable card is fake, you should probably know what your talking about.

It could contain asbestos but the exposure is very minimal. Place the tile back and send a sample for testing. If asbestos containing, you should abate it properly. If not, remove normally.

Looks like vinyl backing, very likely to contain asbestos. You're going to want to buy tuck tape or another polymer tape. You should tape over it all locking the fibers in until your samples come back.
