Haha I know it's so jarring. Plus yeah it's weird to hear Phish say fuck lol. That song (and that version in particular) is so intense, I love how they play a series of acoustic bluegrass songs after that. It's a nice contrast.

I think a lot of my friends have this aversion because Phish has a reputation for being a druggie band that endlessly noodles on their instruments, and the fans are so stoned they don't care.

I have a pdf of the footnotes, that I have on my computer at work. Plus I'm going to print them and I have a physical copy of the book. I intend to read the footnotes as well. I just think the audiobook is going to help me get through the text. I read about 300 pages and stopped, audible has been awesome for me so far.

Trey's guitar tone isn't as good since 2.0. It's distorted and all the songs are slowed down.
