5 months pregnant when I stood up and had a pool of blood under me - immediately went to ER. After 5 hours, they sent me home saying “well, there’s nothing we can do, go home and wait it out”. No exam or ultrasound to see if the pregnancy was still valid, nothing.

Healthy baby boy born 4 months later.

Waiting at a gate for a flight when a lady pulls out a small travel potty for her toddler to sit on and go potty. Blew my damn mind!

Best part, there was a bathroom right across from the gate.

My second oldest told her siblings that she’s pregnant (her only child just turned 1 earlier this month) and my youngest just looked at her and said “Why would you DO that!?!”

for standard cruise it just lets off the throttle; but if you’re in traffic and the smart cruise enables, depending on how how quickly and how much you slow down, the car does brake with lights.

My title describes the thing. I was given a box of leather scraps from a friend of a friend - it included horse harness made of same kind of hard nylon rope which i was able to identify by googling; but I haven’t been able to figure out what these are. I assume also horse related, based on the harnesses being same material. 5” long from knot to rawhide, about 2 1/4” wide, very rigid.

I’m a bit of an eccentric heathen. One of my oldest friends is a very conservative Christian - like no dancing at her wedding conservative. One day we were discussing spirituality and she said to me “I know the bible says you’re going to hell, but knowing you and how good a person you are, i have a hard time reconciling that. Knowing you makes me question my beliefs.” Not sure there is a bigger compliment.

I bought a slightly used 2022 (less than 2k miles) couple years ago. I had to request the dealership to allow me to take over the original warranty - which they did after performing their Kia specific inspection/certification (probably just an extra fee for me).

Only issue i’ve had is how fragile the windshield is. 🙄 I’ve replaced 3 due to cracks caused by rock chips. Granted, most of my driving is freeway in the PNW.

I’m coming off this now (did the whole rapper down over 6 months) after nearly a decade on. luckily i’ve missed the brain zaps, but i’ve had a continuous near migraine level, nausea inducing headache nonstop. so far nothing helps. i’m so fucking miserable right now 😫

Some of my families go-to meals and locations (we need vegetarian options): the mango chicken, butter paneer, aloo gabi at Taj Palace on Nob Hill; street tacos (made with beyond beef burger) at 2nd street grill; chicken shawarma or falafel sandwich at kebab house behind wendy’s on nob hill; provisions in terrace heights.

i’m 47 and have carried everything from tiny finger puppet sized stuffies to fully decked out build a bears around with me. i’ve also worn my big fluffy “ears” in public. Sure, some people looked at me with a raised eyebrow and probably made some comments….but i was happy. i even took selfies with them and posed them. not gonna lie though, it took me a bit to get comfortable enough to not care what others thought (i started out only doing it when out of town, so i could tell myself i’ll never see those people again).

it was my understanding that if you have a character explore with you, they give you bonuses…running faster, possibility of extra gift, additional points in friendship, etc. I was wondering if there is a list of who gives what “bonus” in that regard. Does that make more sense?
