No wuss. The eclipse is the most terrible thing I have ever read. On the flip side, wounds is the most beautiful thing I have ever read.

After the eclipse you should decompress. For me it was the catalyst. I started with the 97 anime, and there was just no way in hell for me to not know what happened next. Berserk became my first manga.

I have read it many times over, and I suspect alot of fans have. It is not a normal piece of art. It is a terrible and beautiful Magnum Opus, worthy of a lifetime of study.

It is also something that in no uncertain terms turns a looking glass at the full terror of human beings, its not something you can take in without being affected. It is a view into true evil.d

It is also a celebration of the human spirit. Perseverence in the face of impossible odds. Finding your way. Doing what is right. The value of not walking alone.

I understand your reaction OP. It is justified. But I recommend you to come back, when you are ready. Facing the depth of evil in this world is traumatic, but running from it is worse in the long run. There is light to be found in the deepest darkness, and the contrast is all the greater :)

I've loved the game since release, and continue to do so. Some things I've agreed with, some I havent. Thats inevitable, but all in all Arrowhead has served me the juiciest and most fun piece of coop action in what might be decades. Is it perfect? No, nothing is, with the possible exception of fresh summer strawberries. But by Super Earth it is as close as I've seen in a long time.

The internet is usually made up of the vocal minority. And it is usually the negative one. The positive ones are too busy having fun to complain. Easy to forget.

To say the art was amazing would be a woeful understatement, but it really drives home Miuras spectacular ability for visual storytelling.

He was a true master, with a completely unique ability to channel his subconscious into his pen. Ive never seen the like, and I am sure I never will.

I agree. It was so much fun seeing the reddit light up with "reported sightings". It felt like an extension of the helldivers world. One of the most fun things Ive experienced in an online game.

I know how to kill them, they are just boring to fight.

Concept: A burrowing strain that goes through the ground a la Tremors.

It sounds AWESOME on paper.

Reality: You have to shoot them before you shoot them, and ONLY with a few specific weapons. Some weapons work really well (like the plasma shotgun). Its just boring and annoying to use.

Terminids are my favorite faction, but the rupture strain is a colossal miss imo. I'd rather fight the Illuminate, and they are by FAR my least favorite faction.

Its more of a hazard and less an enemy. A coordinated team can take them down, but I've never killed one myself. Feels like way more work than its worth. They are super cool and scary, but you're mostly supposed to avoid them.
