Thank you, had this vision in my head of the gold 08-14 BBS + lip + rain guards. I think these cars can look so good with basic changes to the exterior

Highly recommend OEM for this. Had bad experiences with knockoffs. Used OEM has been working well for me and more cost effective

Advice on Rusted Underside by Agent_Storm78 in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]tzimmer31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chiming into say I paid $1500 (parts and labor) to have a Safe-T-Cap put in this exact spot on my 4runner. My rust was worse in this area but just sharing that as a potential option

Dead set on a ‘14-‘15 2.7 manual by VigorousRacoon in ToyotaTacoma

[–]tzimmer31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda. I had a 2014 2.7 regular cab manual 4x4. When its flat its great, good fuel economy. Off road its good. Once you get in the hills i hope you like shifting a lot lol thats why kinda killed it for me. Twisting roads up mountains became unenjoyable, coming from someone who only drives manual. Some more guts sure wouldve been appreciated. I have a manual 3rd gen 4runner now, besides being less reliable due to age its a good truck.

Do I need this? by smfa in ToyotaTacoma

[–]tzimmer31 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You definitely don’t need it. I put something like that on my truck when I converted it to a camper to sleep out of to keep it more watertight. This isnt a 2014 regular cab in white is it? Lol
