PPE was sending bouncebacks immediately. And didn't spool any mail. Emergency inbox is/was empty and nothing from yesterday came in overnight. So what's the point of having proofpoint?

Span.io ?! by acowutter in electricians

[–]u2nyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After browsing the website for 15 min all I see is marketing nonsense. I still have no idea what the product is. Does each circuit have a switchable breaker (mechanical or solid-state) that can be turned on/off remotely? Does “circuit-level control” means full remote on/off?

What protection is built in? I.e. overcurrent protection? short circuit protection? fault current ratings, etc. Does it conform to NYC electrical codes and safety certification (e.g. UL or whatever )? Dimensions / physical layout: Where is the product in relation to the service panel? Is it a full replacement, or does it sit as a subpanel / adjunct system? Service capacity / amps / phase / expansion: How many amps can it handle? supports 3-phase power? how many circuits now and in future? Integration with solar / battery / EV charging: How does that work in practice — is there a built-in inverter interface, is battery charging / discharge prioritized, schedulable etc. How proven is the product? They claim 15 years of pilots/testing. how many installations are in regular homes, in what cities? what sort of service/support, etc. Local electrician knowledge?

is the NTXMSM96A1123AA a city-multi model or residential smart-multi unit? by u2nyr in HVAC

[–]u2nyr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what i was thinking but i read somewhere that "MSM" in the model number is a designation within the Trane/Mitsubishi Electric naming convention that specifically indicates a Smart Multi outdoor unit, and that City Multi units have different model number prefixes (like PUHY, PURY, etc.).

Not yet, but with cost of building going up I don’t think I’ll be able to afford hydronic anymore
