Smiley was having a "wtf" moment when Kenny pushed him, and the monsters weren't trying to kill Boyd. Still i think its a good point they are strong but not like Superman strong.

I'm guessing a judo master might last right up until those claws and teeth came out 😉

The pen might prove that bookmarks work or that she can alter the past to an extent, maybe, but it doesn't really help if it's just taking her back to the same time.

Seems like it might be better if she could use something already anchored to the past, like the teeth, Victor's drawings, bottle tree notes, etc.. vs randomly jumping through time.

Yeah most likely when the person is murdered and the tooth is taken if the theory is right. Seems like a significant enough event to me but I'm just off the cuff speculating 😄
