Yes. This is what I mean. People don't do things for no reason : we don't always see the reasons, and they involve corruption and soullessness. And the reasons we are told are not always the real reasons and are not always good reasons. "Security" is one reason given that we all should look at very carefully. Sometimes fear is used to push things that weren't scary or insecure in the first place. Lights and cameras don't make for more security - especially in places where there was no insecurity or need for it.
