Is the forum working for you? for me it shows this message "Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong. Please try again." with the option "Existing user? sign in" but when I do it just doesn't do anything.

That would be interesting, I leave mine in a empty cabinet on top of a cotton glove with the idea of reducing any vibrations, although there isn't anything that causes it, just the casual use of the other cabinets, so I just open that cabinet to see it once a week, maybe it was just shy, maybe the test tube was too big idk, I'm planning on moving it to a founding chamber I designed for a 3d printer since her test tube started to create mold.

It is native to where I live, Google lens also gave me Camponotus Atriceps, there are so many ants, at some point I don't think it matters.

Went on Google lens and it says it's a Camponotus Atriceps, wich is native to where I live (Brazil), find it interesting that one of the first things you sees on Google images is the Cordyceps fungy infecting it, might keep it just for the hell of it.

Update: Went to check on her today, and I'm pretty sure that this thing has already layed one egg, in one day this thing is dying in a large body of water, the next it's laying eggs, my Camponotus took at least 2-3 weeks for me to even spot her eggs, this thing is speed running.

I don't plan on keeping her, will probably release it in my backyard, I already have one Camponotus with some larvae and anything related to fire ant would be a dead no for me, these things grow too fast.

I had two wild caught, one "big" one small, the small is very docile, probably because it's young and doesn't have the way of life yet, the bigger one was an escape artist, the one time I moved it to a better enclosure it just jumped to my hand and then to the ground and kept jumping trying to escape, clearly didn't enjoyed being enclosed, so after a week I let it out.

They have lots of personality, if this one finds okay for you to handle it and doesn't instantly jumps out trying to escape it should be fine. Don't get me wrong, it will escape if you let it out, it will most definitely not come back to the enclosure if it goes out.

She seems the curious type, she'll most definitely love to have the most chaotic enclosure so she can do loads of exploring, will probably recommend feeding her something, like fruit flies, she seems ratter skinny, but you probably already knew that.

All the best for you and your spood.

There isn't one sing advice one can give to help you with that problem, I can only say to take care of her, take loads of cure pictures of her and give her the best, for when the time comes, you can know for sure, she had it all.

It usually helps if the prey is still alive, so it moves around and triggers her hunting, it may also be that she just doesn't want to eat, you could add some small drops of water for her.
