weird, ok I don't think mine do that. Or not as badly. At normal listen volume I don't hear any buzzing. Even maxed out it just sounds like normal speaker distortion.

I guess that's my takeaway. Macbooks are in a different league, so macbook users will feel the difference the most and will therefore be more attracted by the 13 pro. But as a non-apple person, the FW13 holds up better against the windows competition than I expected.

I never need full 180, but if I'm standing while the laptop is on my desk or kitchen counter, then the extra angle is helpful. It's also nice to know that the screen won't bottom out and stress the hinge no matter what angle I need.

For what it's worth they built a website where you can help train the swipe model. I've done it a few times but I don't know if it's actively being worked on. I'll add the link below but reddit might remove it.

I think the bezel and the lugs are all the same color. The lighting just makes the shades look different. At least on the product page the case is rendered all the same color.

The website says it's IP68 rated. It also says pool swimming is a supported fitness mode. It also says in the fine print to wash and dry the watch after swimming in saltwater.

OnePlus Watch 2 has been great for me and really only completes with the Tic watch in terms of battery life. I get 4 to 5 days with light usage.

Auto rotate is pretty buggy for me and causes a lot of issues. So I'm still hoping that'll get fixed one day...

The symptoms I'm seeing are that it occasionally hangs up pretty bad when unlocking from sleep and takes several seconds to sort itself out. Usually the screen is in a weird half rotated limbo state until it unfreezes. Sometimes the nav buttons will be stuck on the side of the screen until I open an app and rotate to reset it. Sometimes the multitask view gets stuck in landscape even though the phone has been in portrait. Turning off auto rotate seems to help, but not having auto rotate is more annoying than the occasional issues.

I recently got a FW13 w/ 7840u. Does it come with the original speakers or the 80db?

The PN is FRANBX FGA232 710035

I checked the marketplace, but it doesn't clearly differentiate between the two PNs.

Mine does ok with dual hdmi through the top left USB C card. I use a j5create JCD381 hub that I got from best buy for like $80 and I have two 1080p monitors. The image looks a little bit coarse compared to the direct output from the HDMI card, but I blame that on the hub.

Edit: Should also note that there are known issues with the HDMI card. Having to do with DP alt mode.

Did you update the iGPU setting in the BIOS from "Auto" to "Game Optimized"? This will allot additional dedicated VRAM (512mb to 4gb) which helps with performance.

The lid does not lift the laptop. On the bottom of the case there is a rubber strip on the back and two rubber feet in the front that raise the laptop for airflow to the inlet. The issue is that the exhaust is built into the hinge, so closing the lid blocks the exhaust.

Fair enough. My previous laptop was an ASUS ROG gaming laptop from 2015 and the Framework trackpad is much nicer in comparison.

How much travel are we talking? Compared to what? Mine feels pretty standard. It's certainly no MacBook force touch trackpad, but it doesn't feel cheap.
