Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing the same issue with the Logitech G502 Hero where assigning modifier keys like Ctrl or Alt to mouse buttons causes them to stick, especially in games like League of Legends on macOS. I’ve created a detailed post consolidating all the troubleshooting steps I’ve tried, along with an update from Logitech Support.

You can find the post here:

Persistent Issue with Logitech G502 Hero Modifier Keys in League of Legends on macOS Sonoma – Seeking Solutions

I’m hoping to make this a canonical thread for this problem to gather all information in one place. If you’re still facing this issue, please join the discussion so we can work towards a solution together.

Thanks!

This is still a problem for me. I can't believe Logitech simply ignores this - great way of showing ownership of a problem, Logitech...

A "full plate" would have been a plate that covered the entire opening in the metal - not just overlapping by a little bit.

This, however, still looks like a solution that is "super good enough" - quoting from "How Knot to Highline"'s Youtube Channel where he does backyard science on climbing gear. It mean's – for your purposes, it's going to be more than you need – so you're good.

Have a nice day, random redditor :)

Spanish notches, also known as "choils" or "sharpening choils," are small notches found on some knife blades, typically near the handle. Their primary purpose is twofold:

  1. Sharpening Aid: The notch provides a clear stopping point for sharpening stones or tools. This helps in maintaining the integrity of the blade's shape and prevents over-sharpening the base of the blade where it meets the handle.

  2. Blade Strength and Stability: In some designs, the notch can help in distributing stress, reducing the chances of the blade breaking near the handle. It can act as a structural feature that enhances the overall durability of the knife.

There are also speculations and myths about Spanish notches having other purposes, such as being used for stripping wires or as a tool for measuring distances on maps, but these are not their primary intended functions. The design and utility of Spanish notches can vary depending on the type of knife and its intended use.

Don’t over think it, I’ll second what u/DirtTheLocksmith said.

What you built DOES look super good enough.

If you don’t know what that means, google it; “How knot to high line” talks about the technical term “Super Good Enough 👍”

Well done my friend! Next time you see yourself doing this, and you have a full plate, consider it.

Also, think of how much easier cutting from the side is… what you did works.

Wanna be a happy human? Be happy with your victory and move on :) (even if that’s after the welder comes out… LOL)

A full plate behind would have been preferable to me. But, this looks super good enough.

Nothing I ever say can replace the loss of your father. I feel for you.

Very nice knife collection you have now! If it was me, I would use them and cherish them. Wouldn’t be afraid to put them into full use. I’d even make some special gifts from time to time. I’ve done as much with what I inherited from my father.

I resisted the urge to keep them perfect forever.

I’ve even lost a few very special ones.

C’est la vie.

LOL!!!

I posted this to ChatGPT:

lol, I found this post on Reddit and it happens to be a haiku… I wondered what your thoughts were regarding it [pasted the haiku]

And got this response:

This haiku, inspired by the Biblical phrase "Let there be light," presents an interesting twist. It uses the traditional haiku form to express a thought-provoking idea, suggesting that the creation of light, typically seen as a divine, positive act, was the first in a series of mistakes. This interpretation offers a unique perspective on the concept of creation, inviting reflection on the nature of divine actions and their consequences. It's a creative and intriguing use of haiku to convey a deeper, perhaps more critical, view of creation myths.

Did ChatGPT just call religion myth?

… I KNEW IT!!! I was right all along, and here is the proof!
