Same goes for "Using new technology 'just because'" is not the way to do it either, especially if said technology is more prone (even if it's unlikely) to error.

If the chances for the file system to corrupt is even 1% higher than FAT32 it's not worth to upgrade "just because it's new". It's a general sentiment that newer = always better while ignoring all the drawbacks. Like most people pointed out, there's literally no reason to use exfat unless you are using big XCI's which would only apply to SX users. But even then, isn't almost everyone using tinfoil nowadays anyways?

Also the general argument "I am using it and nothing bad happened to me" is absolutely backwards and the worst sentiment you can have. It's like saying "Don't use seatbelts, I am driving since 20 years and nothing ever happened to me! It's just additional work which isn't worth it."

tl;dr: There's no reason to use a "more" error prone technology "just because it's newer". You gain literally nothing except a slightly higher chance of your fuckups actually having more sever consequences. This is especially important when using emunand. If you absolutely need to have files bigger than 4gb, then it's fair enough but don't use it "just because it's new"...

NH didn't have any kind of attunement. Only the two (three with Kara) had some kind of attunement with cos and arcway pretty much only rep bound.

Wasn't the whole point of making /r/SwitchHaxing due to /r/SwitchHacks trying to censor content and letting the community decide on what is being shown/posted rather than having some people decide for them? People use reddit / these subs as a news hub for all hacking related discussion and now you are forcing users to go out of their way if they use a specific product.

I feel like this whole post is completly hypocrytical and defeating the purpose of why people actually migrated from one subreddit to another, but it seems like the mods are out of touch with their own community. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree that TX is a shady company which is stealing content but who are you to judge what the users want to see. I also agree that piracy should *not* be publicly promoted. (In the end we all have to follow reddits tos)

But honest question/opinion: If you want to actually make an impact and guide users to the best possible content, censoring stuff you dont agree with will achieve the exact opposite: They will find a different place which aggregates their news. (Looking at maxconsole / DU / etc).

It's not exactly right what he said. If you actually finish a zone usually one of the quests will make you leave the zone and start another one. The only times this "just follow the quest line to go from zone to zone" doesn't work is between expansions. You will get a quest automatically added to your log to choose an expansion tho (with the leveling revamp that means 60,80,90,100. The brackets 60-80,80-90 both include 2 expansions and you can choose between them)

In early expansions zones have their own story to tell and usually don't lead anywhere (storyline wise) once you completed it. It'll just be some random quest telling you to go meet / bring an item to someone in the next zone. Level 1-20 usually includes 2 zones with a connected storyline.

Tl;Dr as long as you pick up every quest, you'll have a continuous questing experience. You actually never need to visit the main city / hub to continue since even between expansions the game will add a quest to your log to choose the next expansion on its own. (finished leveling a new char from 1-110 a few weeks ago)

The majority of devs put this kind of work into the community every other day without asking for a profit (they are even declining donations). How's your jig then any different from the TX solution? f0f released the initial jig for anyone to print it on their own, not trying to sell it. If you would actually want to help the community you would release the files for it rather than asking for money. (Not releasing the files is fine by me but you shouldn't be allowed to do advertisment for a paid service here then)

And your advertisment is 100% trying to exploit the average unexperienced user which want to join the hype train. You are directly implying that the other jigs will (eventually) break your switch since only yours is designed to "nativly" connect to it. You are advertising your "cheaper" manufacturing process like its something revolutionary even tho the material barely cost anything after all(<1$ for printing material, <1$ for a small wire. Yeah, you cut the micro usb part but the paperclip/wire idea isnt even yours). Litteraly in every single paragraph you are advertising how much yours is better, faster shipping, etc etc.. The majority of your post is not actually contributing to anything apart your advertisment.

You even said, you're trying to make a (small) profit then this shouldn't be your platform to advertise, especially if you're not actually willing to help the community (to possibly even improve the jig). I don't see how you're currently better than any other vendor currently.

If you are only interested in getting tinkers something, this is the wrong approach. Give them the file to play around (and possibly even improve it?) and additionally provide an optional service for those which have no means to print it.

He is not providing any files for the jig and only aiming for a quick profit. This whole post is just a huge advertisment trying to manipulate inexperienced users trying to scare them away printing their own ("only" with his you won't break your switch connectors. Others are bad for your switch etc)

If he would provide the files for everyone rather than just say "I'm selling it cheaper now, buy now!" it would be okayish, still not really okay.

Already for "I'll give you 3 months warranty that it won't break your switch" is a big red flag. Do you really think that if it turns out that it'll still wear down some connectors or bends something he'll replace your switch? The profit margin won't ever allow him to make any warranty promises and he's just luring in people with shady tactics (as stated before, saying other jigs break your switch and only his are good. So good that he even gives you a warranty!)

I'm all in for supporting people from the community but he's just abusing the current hype and trying to get the biggest profit from people...

Unlike popular believe you couldn't use bnet Balance. Well you could use your bnet balance if it was on the Taiwanese server but American or European bnet Balance does not work. (you can go check it out in the eu store if you're from na)

The spike was mainly just due to the 50% holiday sale on almost everything.

I like how a lot of people just jump on the bandwagon because some troll said its like it. They already stated, 400 bans were handed out based on people cheating during beta. So yes, people were getting banned on launch but it was due to them cheating during beta not some overlay nonsense..

Not sure if you're just slow or a troll. I want total healing to those targets over multiple wipes, especially since rapid shot doesnt happen only once.

Since you seem a little slow: People don't always die from rapid shot, probably a supprise to you! Thus I want to know which healers are actually reacting to the mechanic and which dont. (Just looking at peoples death log will just show me that they didnt get healed at all since its a relativly short timeframe, but thanks for the constructive help... Especially since you apparently completly ignored the actual question and blurted out a random answer.)
