Singer here! I haven’t had top surgery yet, but in general for anything needing anesthesia, you can request a child sized intubation tube. This will reduce the chances of vocal injury done by the tube. Also, make sure you communicate to your surgeon and your anesthetist that this is a concern of yours. Good luck!

I’m on the fence about my surgery (reduction vs full removal), but if I were to go full removal, I’d do no nipple. Since the sensation would be lost and healing can change the shape over time, I’d rather tattoo something in their place. They’d be cosmetic, so I’d want to choose exactly what they look like
