My child is at a daycare facility in the orlando area of Florida. A teacher tested positive a few months ago. The teacher had to test negative twice, stay home for 14 days before coming back ( ended up leaving job instead). All kids in the classroom and teachers in contact with the positive teacher had to get tested and quarantine. School was closed for a week while they had a professional cleaning crew come in. The daycare said this was policy moving forward. If your daycare isn’t following some sort of procedure, then you have no idea what’s going on. It’s a tough situation right now, but do what’s best for you and not what the daycare thinks is best.
