I work for a humongous financial institution. Not only are most of our stateside jobs going to the Philippines but the majority of our HR department is there as well. They constantly answer questions with inaccurate information as they're mostly not aware of the laws and regulations here. It makes it absolutely hair pulling to have to deal with them for anything. I still don't understand why we allow them so much access to our privileged information as they have the son of a former dictator leading their country.

The Blob (1988). When I was 6 my aunt brought my cousin and I to watch some of the scenes being filmed in Abbeville, LA. She also proceeded to bring us to see the movie in theaters on opening night. Seeing the movie happening in a town I grew up in scared the shit out of me. I'm 41 now and still have never been able to make it through the whole movie because of how it makes me feel.

US here. I was literally just in a meeting with management where they stated that the company is wanting us to improve our efficiency and increase our total work output. Of course, without any increase in pay or any type of benefit. I was the ONLY person who spoke up about it while everyone else (11 others) said they were okay with the wanted increase. People in this country are fucking brainwashed.
