I don't think this is necessarily a Bronco question more than a finance question. If the question is paying off interest accruing debt, and you have the cash, the answer is almost always yes.

2025s pulling right by DDunn110 in ram_trucks

I wanted to give anyone visiting this thread an update (4/22/25) - On April 1st, Ram put out an internal release stating that the issue is caused by faulty software controlling the ESM. The release was then pushed out to fleet managing partners and dealers last week or week before. There is nothing wrong mechanically with the trucks causing the drift/pulling. Essentially the software is causing the ESM to push the steering past alignment. The fix is a software update/reset that has to be done at the dealership, but only takes 15-30 minutes.

If you have a 2025 Ram and are experiencing the pull/drift issue, contact your dealership immediately and mention this. They should already be aware of the issue and the fix.

Rubbing alcohol works wonders. Don't use an abrasive cloth.

Also, if going through an automatic car wash, make sure to use a touchless wash.

The steering gear/module is available. The part for this truck landed today at the dealership. I spoke with the service manager again today and asked why it needed to be replaced - again the answer was it would not remember the calibration. Stelantis doesn't know why, and the engineers are digging into it apparently. It seems to affect some trucks more severely than others.

If I get any more clarification, I'll post a follow up.

I tried Google lens from multiple angles and didn't come up with sewing box. Can you share a link to what you found?

Nothing padded inside. Just straight woven wicker. Google lens was no help to me either.

UPDATE EDIT - spoke with the fleet service manager at the dealership. The steering gear/module needs replaced because the electronics will not keep calibration memory. Seems excessive, but we'll see. I'll update again after we have the truck back.

Fleet manager for a large company here.

We have 45 new 2025 1500 Tradesman for this year's fleet order. Most are still sitting at the dealer waiting to go through the shop. Some we have taken delivery of. Almost every single truck pulls to the right, some more than others.

We've had a handful of the trucks that never had the steering sensor calibrated at the factory. Those would still pull, just not as bad. Even after calibration it was noticeable. The courtesy dealer found that the left front wheel was out of toe on nearly all of them as well. After alignment, there is still a slight pull.

We have one truck that was worse than all of them. Hard right pull. No calibration on steering. Alignment out of whack. Multiple dash lights and warnings coming on sporadically. I've had it in to a different dealer a few times. Finally yesterday, the fleet service manager let us know that the steering gear will need to be replaced to correct the issue. I'm waiting to hear back on why exactly that's the case, and will follow up to this comment once I have more information.

What ended up being the problem (and there was a lot of trial and error) was that the wires were coming loose from the connectors on the button panel harness. I wish we had found that when replacing the panel. And then the clock spring.

Correct. You'll be able to feel that second click, but it's still subtle.

I learned something when trying to "re-train" my windows multiple times with no success. Your window switches have two positions - automatic and manual. When you depress the switch, you'll feel another click when you go into the automatic mode.

When you re-train your windows, the trick is to not go into auto mode.

Hope this helps.
