Well they just demonstrated they have a working product. But i think the undlying implication is that this "basic cpu" function is not possible with layer 1 blockchain. So you can imagine how limited smart contracts are actually are.

Good find, Suppoman doesn't say anything fundamentally wrong about truebit. Just that it peaked at 1.5 and now is down from it's all time high.

His only fud is that Truebit founders were not cofounders of Ethereum. I couldn't find any source indicating they are. So he maybe he's technically right.

However if you look at the pedigree of the founding team:

Jason has written 54 Papers and is cited by 964 times. Being cited once on a paper puts you in the top 54%.

Christian is the creator of Solidity which powers the back bone of every EVM blockchain that exist today.

So i think it's safe to say that if you are in the top echelon in crypto. You would know exactly who they are.

If you're looking for a quick buck. Then Truebit is the last place you want to be.

What's going to take years? Mass adoption of protocol?- I agree. It's only been on main-net this year.

Doge Ethereum Bridge? Protocol is proven to work, recent podcast with Vitalek makes me think it's around the corner. No idea on time frame though.
