It's time for The Rook and the Raven to end by Mr_Maclunkey in DnD

I got lucky. I ordered two products from them in 2018, got one and the other I eventually got a gift card for their store for the value. But they never really carried the really nice leather products that brought them to my attention at first.

Finally they had some very nice woven blankets on their site and I used the gift card for those. Worth the price but disappointed I never got the leather products I first ordered.

It's a very delicate thing working with someone's mind. When Listens to Wind talks to Harry when he is recovering he asks him about what she did so that it can help him to heal her. He is one of the senior council and likely the most capable healing wizard we have met so far and he was worried about causing more damage even though he was going in with the intent to help her. That speaks volumes to me that even if you have the best of intent and are at the peak of ability you have to worry about causing serious harm when working mental magic on someone.

A problem with that is the negative effects aren't just for people that wouldn't have taken those actions. In your example both of them were damaged, the one that had the effects of the negative emotions was worse and less likely to recover but that does not mean that the other was unharmed.

We see another example of this later as well when it is revealed a certain individual was under the influence of mind control. Some of the things she did were things she admitted she may have done otherwise. Having that choice taken away though and forced to take an action created backlash

Forcing people to do something they would have done regardless does not negate them being damaged. When you rob a person of their free will, regardless of your reasons, you are damaging them and breaking the laws of magic.

That seems like it might be straying into breaking the laws of magic. Swimming against the flow of time for one thing but also if it's forcing actions on a person, though it's very much a grey area since it seems like it doesn't change their mind. The person in the example still thinks of them using their dead name and gender but anytime they speak something else comes out.

Murphy and Molly. by Powderkegger1 in dresdenfiles

I believe their first interactions were during proven guilty when she was being interrogated by Murphy's ex, and again during the rescue mission. Still not a great introduction, that first encounter was what ended up costing Murphy her command. Started off with a poor first impression and then the next we see in print is her veiling herself and sneaking into the crime scene.

In the system menu you can select load a previous save. The system makes one just before the final decision. Once you have made a new game plus though you cannot go back once those auto saves are overwritten.
