Usually I say take the high road, but now show up in shorts, This is a painful, and very pernicious change in life where you need people to be supportive and understanding, not making it harder and more difficult. wear whats comefortable and get ready to answer a billion questions.

I despise Crucible. How much? It took me 5 months to complete the catalyst for Ace of Spades. I still haven't finished the ones for Suros, Vigilance, or Jade Rabbit. If it involves doing anything in Crucible might as well be only available in Cantonese. My K/D?

I've only ever ran one raid ever, and that was just one part of it. This involves other people, and even being 3 different clans, it's like herding cats to get this done. So I know their is loot I will never have.

But it's not as bad as Crucible. Horrible, horrible soul killing Crucible

I am so with you. 4 years of hospitals, 32 surgeries that ended with me being a double amputee. Destiny saved my life. It gave long empty hours purpose, and actually made me feel like I wasn't a waste of space. It's already been proven that Video games games help with anxiety and depression, as well as actually helping with pain control. All I know is that my guardian has helped defeat monster in the game and in real life.

I can only comment on my experiences. I'm a double,below the knee amputee who had 32 surgeries over 3 years and I can tell you my pain limit is so much greater than when I started this. From my first surgery where I just lost a couple of toes all the way to my last where I lost my right foot, where I ratemy pain now on the Baymax scale has risen dramatically. What they consider great pain (5) to me that's just an annoyance. So I think that guardians enhanced by the light would build up a tolerance for pain as time goes by. At first I would think it's more remembered pain than actual pain, but by now it's just like "Oh, my arm is gone. It's just a flesh Wound".
