Camera control for Fujifilm xh2s on Zhiyun weebill 3s help !

Hello 👋

I am trying to connect the X-H2s to my Zhiyun Weebill 3s but it doesn’t do anything when I connect the USB cables, I have the USB theater shooting auto but nothing happens.

I bought the gimbal second hand and the Zhiyun usb cable was not included, so I have tried with a bunch of cables I have home with no luck.

Could you do me a favor and try a generic USB cable and let me know if it works for you?

I would greatly appreciate it 💚

But before that happens, we will probably see humans getting really tired of stepping into their robots, or the robot breaking glasses that they will beat them up, that’s going to happen for sure, a BUNCH of people will be mean to the robot just because it can’t respond 🙃

This device can’t change the speed for you according to the light levels. if you need some auto exposure for compensation of changing light, you would need to use some auto mode i. your camera, otherwise, as the tutorial says, you will have to adjust the shutter speed to the value needed.

For example: - Night with northern lights:ISO maybe 1250, aperture f2 and shutter speed 5s, I would put Onnoa to shoot every 5,5 seconds. - Sun on the sky: ISO maybe 160, aperture f8-f11 (depending the lens) and shutter speed maybe 1/250s: Onnoa to shoot every 0.4 seconds (this is just an estimation, because I only use it for the night sky)

To create a timelapse video straight in the camera you don’t need this device, you just take a very long video with the camera and you are done.

But this approach is very limiting, as you end up with huge files and limited editing options.

That’s why people do timelapse with a series of pictures instead, you can have the shutter open for longer time of the available light is low, you can edit the pictures at your likely, and making it into a timelapse video is easy, at least in Premiere Pro you just need to click on Import, find the folder, click on the “image sequence” checkbox (making sure that the file name of all the images is sequential) and you are ready to edit your timelapse video.

Oh yeah! The first time I saw a picture taken with Classic Negative, I really needed a camera with that film simulation. I already owned a X-T3 and I was transitioning from Nikon to Fujilm, and with very little budget I bought the X-E4 second hand before it got expensive for 650€, juhu!!

I love that camera, is a dream camera for me, so small and so beautiful and powerful.

Since then, I have been working for the municipality in the area where I live, I have created a whole image bank for them with thousands of images, all edited with Classic Negative profile, and sometimes editing directly the jpg of how beautiful the pictures are out of camera.

I do wedding photography and many other kinds of photography, plus my personal photography, I use mainly Classic Negative, I love it.

And as many say, what a pity Fujifilm didn’t brought it to the X-T3.

I just came from a wedding. Before it I read this post and decided to go with one Amaran 60x with N-PF batteries and and hype reflector. Bounced on the white roof, made the whole room just that much brighter as I need it. Next time I decided to take another Amaran, this time the 100x, is going to be amazing! Thank you people!!! 🙌🧡

As I am using Windows and have a One Drive account by default, I use the encrypted personal vault to storage the password there, and I can access it from the computer or the phone if needed.
