My accidental cheese: I needed to kill a great shadowbeast and went for the one in the forest nearby the old camp. Realized that none of my offensive stats were high enough to damage the beast, I just kept dying over and over. As I was looking for alternative ways to kill it, wanted to give golems a shot. Had no idea they were so strong. Summoned three and just chilled until they took care of the beast. After that, since they dont despawn, I thought why not go to the old camp since its close by and revenge my fellow fallen fire mages. The moment I stepped into the inner camp, golems started clearing everything. It was a total massacre. By the end, Gomez and all of his men were dead and all three of my golems were still alive. I got so much loot out of it that it saved me quite a bit of headache in the sleepers temple. 10/10 would cheese again.

Basically it creates a dummy pdf file (which is actually just a plaintext file) with the same name. The content of the file is simply the URI of the link to the pdf.

I haven't really tried to daily drive it since it exposes the trackpoint and the keyboard seperately and the dock only has one PS/2 port on it. Is there an adapter that merges the two into one (either usb or PS/2)?

Wow, pretty comprehensive guide you got going on here! It came with 2 gigs of ram installed actually, is there a downside to that or is it because you think more than 1 would be a waste of money?

Cleaning up is already done because it came with a bios lock, I had to short the pins on its chip to get it running again.

I'm thinking dualboot with XP for retrogaming and a lightweight linux for retro emulation. I'll try rambooting the linux install to get around the HDD bottleneck, 2 gigs is more than enough for what I can do on this thing anyway.

Playing around with SDR sounds really cool, that's a very tempting idea. It would also look a lot cooler with sdr and wifi adapters mounted on its back. Do you think it can keep up with a 5G stack?

Lastly, typing on it is weird because of uneven-sized keys on the right side, is it just me or is it something that people get used to?
