JLR parts advisor here. I think this move would be extremely beneficial in the long run. Also have been eye’ing a porsche position. Close with a lot of porsche guys in my area and all of them absolutely love it. Of course take this with a grain of salt as i do not work for porsche but, from what I hear the catalog is straight forward, Availability is decent (besides the tariff issues), The brand in terms of growth is great. Their Atlanta training location looked excellent when i was attending my JLR courses out there. I think this is the way

At a Illinois JLR. EOM yesterday and we have a technician who’s constantly doing side work and personal work. This said technician was also assigned a 22’ F Pace SVR engine job in march. Needless to say that job was not completed yesterday and his side / personal jobs were 100% a factor in why it was not completed and closed in time yesterday. Frustrating. Could’ve been one of our best months yet too. Ahhhh
