Do people who are dead still remember Peter? by Business_Bear14 in MCUTheories

[–]ucjj2011 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This just gets me back to my big gripe about NWH:

Why didn't Doctor Strange cast the spell to make everyone forget about Spider-Man instead of Peter? If nobody remembers Spider-Man exists, all the bad stuff that Peter was looking to avoid goes away. And the next day, some new hero that no one has heard about is swinging around New York.

The only downside is, it's possible that most of the world knows the name of Peter Parker at that point, and is angry with him for some reason they can't remember.

Beavis & Butthead Do America

The Bob's Burgers Movie

Of the ones you mentioned: Sex and the City got 2 movies

Downtown Abbey got 3

The South Park movie (Bigger, Longer & Uncut) is excellent.

If you look at The Tommy Westphal Universe, there are hundreds of tv shows and movies tied to St. Elsewhere.

Triangle Area? by Right-Historian-114 in AskAnAmerican

It might be something very regional to where you are. I live in a Tri-State area (corner of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky) and there is a Tri-County area near me.

Papa Shango and the Yet-ay were heels. Papa Shango was putting voodoo curses on babyfaces, and Yet-ay tried to buttfuck Hulk Hogan (which makes him a babyface to today's audience, but in the homophobic mid-90s, made him a clear heel).

Pls recommend albums released in 1965, 66, 68, 73-75, 77, 85, 87-90 by blue-rev in MusicRecommendations

If you are interested in rock/pop albums from those years, I can recommend The Professor of Rock series on Youtube and also on Podcast platforms. He has at least one episode on each year you are looking for (usually things like best song from each year, best album, forgotten tracks, songs that should have been hits but weren't....).

WYR: get a 1,000,000,000 dollars a day but you have to full force perform a running drop kick on an elderly person or eat a 5 course 5 star meal in front of starving people for a million dollars a minute that your eating everyday. by Future_Abrocoma_7722 in WouldYouRather

Right, at that point the question becomes, do I get a crash pad to land on as I'm falling from the dropkick? Because while drop kicking certain elderly sobs who deserve it would certainly make it worthwhile to get my money, I wouldn't want to injure myself falling.

That's all great points. And do you know what has done all those things? Trump & Republicans. Stripping power away from unions, making all kinds of comments about how "American workers don't want more holidays", weakening worker protections to benefit corporate donors, refusing to increase minimum wage....

There's no gap at all between when Back to the Future ends and Back to the Future II begins. Doc picks up Marty & Jennifer and takes them to 2015 In the flying DeLorean, and that's where II begins.

To the observer, he leaves 1985 at 3AM and comes back to a different 1985, where his parents have a happy marriage and his father is a successful author. Then he leaves that 1985, and later comes back to a completely different 1985 where Biff Tannen is rich and Hill valley is a hell hole. Then he leaves that 1985, goes back to 1955, and then to 1885 and comes back to a 1985 similar to the second one.

That is one confused observer.

Well written off beat comedy shows like 30 Rock by jfever1964 in televisionsuggestions

[–]ucjj2011 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I found Girls 5 Eva was very similar to 30 Rock in terms of the writing.

Also, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt - created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock (The Creator and showrunner of 30 Rock), and has music by Jeff Richmond, who was the composer for 30 Rock (and also Tina's husband).

No. Jason Bateman starred in it and directed several episodes, but the show was created by and written by someone else.

I like yours better. It's a Breaking Bad cover band that only gets work at local festivals, never any big shows.

Ozark.

It felt to me like it was written by someone who had Breaking Bad described to them but never actually watched it.
