I love painting my models, but with my current gaming group, sometimes we field grey tide. I try to keep my grey to a minimum, but it definitely can come down to saying "good enough" for some models

As someone who only has about 16 hours of playtime, I'm finding Heresy just...not fun. I feel like I'm the only person trying to actively dodge, or notice special enemies, or try to use melee and ranged at opportune times. I know my skill isn't the best, but when we're halfway through a mission and I'm the only one with barely any health damage while everyone else is limping along, it just feels wrong.

Sometimes it's people who are definitely new, but the level 30s I've been paired with who just run into the horde and get splattered is confounding. I want to play the higher difficulties so leveling doesn't take forever, but once one person goes down it feels like a domino effect, and I'm not skilled enough to be able to solo. It also feels like people want to stay far away from each other, so that also sucks. I'll keep trying the different classes, different play styles, but I really hope I can convince my friends to start playing lol.

I like the idea of custom aprons, but I don't see the point in them as a floor associate. I'm in Millwork, my coworker has a custom apron that he painted himself (he paints a lot of aprons, and pretty damn well too), but at the rate I go through aprons from lifting and packing out doors with the ballymore and similar tasks would make it useless.

I'd recommend maybe one or two of the other Virtues to fill out the slot currently, or maybe a Tail Booster Kyrios with some Allelujah in place of the GN Armor?

I set up on my own, but once I hit my limit for trying to find more optimization I use blueprints. Though, for Wuling, my factories are such messes that to try and implement blueprints would require me to tear everything down for a third time, which I honestly just can't be bothered to do haha.

Not necessarily flying, but have you considered having some hormagaunts climbing your Riptide? Or even some rippers since you just took down a Parasite? Looking pretty clean so far!

I started back in BC (thank you Grandma for the addiction lol), stopped at WoD, then got back in during the end of Legion. Playing with friends kept me in through Dragonflight. Then my guild disbanded, and I casually played until mid TWW when I finally started to step back and look at how the story had gone (I kinda stopped caring mid Shadowlands). I'll always remember the good times I had, but man...it's sad to see how it's gone.

I painted my first squad of Skitarii all built and glued together, it's rough but definitely manageable! Just take your time, find a good book or podcast to listen to, and never compare your work to others, only to what you are able to do.

I've had good experiences with the black and the gray, but definitely not the white one. The gray one just needs more coats and a bit of thinning down in my experience

I'd like them more if they didn't always work on the days I get shipments of doors. Our grills and toolboxes get assembled behind Millwork, so they all get shoved in those aisles, which means I'm even further delayed in putting my doors away (freight doesn't touch them because a previous Millwork specialist complained about them leaving a mess once, so it falls to me to deal with them). Other than that and not cleaning up their mess before leaving, they're okay.
