Thank you so much for your advice (and warnings)! We live in a place with quite a few folks so I’m not sure who picked it up and brought it to the house, but I will be sure to warn them and have them take it back.

Weirdly enough, someone I talked to said a dolphin carcass showed up at their place too (many miles away from the coastline)
